Cool place and the food is pretty good. They let slip that they only heat up the food there not prepare it fresh but it is nice so it’s all good.Great coffee and the outside area is great to relax and watch the world go by.

Very nice lunch. Had family from Calgary with me, so we wanted a nice place for lunch and my daughter Nathalie mentioned the Merc. We enjoyed everything. I used yo ho there when I was younger when it was the Hob Nob.

Located at the heart of the village, this cozy eatery has outdoor seating complete with lights. It's worth a visit for breakfast to lunch and has a great atmosphere. I spent the morning writing at an old barn wood table, coddling a coffee until a friend dropped by and bought me lunch. Cool people, a hip vibe, lots of banter and light!As for recommendations, the blueberry muffins are spectacular and the Wippi sandwich is better than a BLT.

Cozy environment, nice staff. I ordered the jambon/ pomme. It was delicious; they served that by salad. After walking around the lake, you can enjoy your time here.

We grabbed a Saturday nightcap at Mercantile and absolutely fell in love with the ambiance. Coffee & tea, plus alcohol options served until 10pm. Cozy couch, candles flickering, and jazz playing - impeccable evening vibes.

MASSAWIPPI MERCANTILE
We live in the area so we have been to the Mercantile several times. Last night was the first time we had been at night and it was very nice. There was live Jazz music and a good selection of food. We had the cheese and meat platter; which was excellent. The service was also very good.
