Great views from the long bridge. Better experienced with a bicycle as it's a long walk either way.

In the autumn you will see hundreds of little dots in the water between the lily pads under the bridge. After watching for a while you will notice that they are the eyes of froggies watching for bugs at the surface. Wait until dark and you get a chorus of croaking, just after the swallows swoop silently overhead to feast on the mosquitos...

Love this park and the boardwalk. Don't come here for a swim though, definitely not the lake for that. Lol.

Blenkinsop Lake Park
A great place to stop and soak in fresh air on trip down Lochside trail. Benches at each end of historic trestle. Statue of farmer Roy on middle. Great place for Pokémon go, and view of mount Douglas. Lots of wildlife in this park.
