Should we call the reception before our way in to check if the pool is open or if it have hot water? NOPE but maybe! " We decided to go with this hotel because we knew the weather would be bad

I wish I could give this hotel 5 stars, but in good faith I cant. We got a very reasonable price for our room over two nights during March break. The room was quiet, clean, and the hotel was close to the highway and many amenities. All of this was good. The breakfast was very solid fare as well with something for everyone. My issue was with the small details like the telephone needing to be unplugged and then plugged in again in order to get the dial tone. The fact that the recumbent bike in the fitness center was in need of repair and that a pedal was falling off. The TV needed a series of special instructions to be able to turn it on. That the swimming pool was under construction and not available. None of these items were huge deal breakers, but they collectively add up to me not being able to give this a 5 star rating. I would be prepared to give this hotel another try next time and see if they had improvements, and the price was quite reasonable if you just needed a place to sleep, but there were enough small details that meant this hotel fell a little short.

Well we needed a place to stay with short notice, hotels were fully booked everywhere. Yikes, creepy guy lingering by the reception door, entrance ceiling has a water stain, elevator is dirty, place is very dated. It's 11pm, can't wait til 6am, and get out. It's a bed, but it would feel better if I was camping. God I hope there are no bed bugs, the place kind of gives you the impression to be on high alert for these high jacking critters.Sorry, won't be staying for breakfast, need to check my vehicles in the morning. Hoping it doesn't get broken into...Did I mention it's next to the police station? Maybe this offers a false sense of security, but nevertheless, I'll take it.

Great hotel, price, & location by the highway exit. Rooms were clean, ample space, wonderful service. Breakfast was good too, eggs, sausages, cereals, yoghurt, a variety of baked goods and fruits. The night manager is so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.
