Very friendly staff, prompt service, and the deliciousness and freshness you’d expect from Subway. This is a very well run Subway and convenient location. I’ve visited it countless times and will always return. I feel welcomed and appreciated there.

Located right off the main highway, it's a good place for a quick bit and to stretch the legs a bit. The staff were super friendly, especially to my kids. Parking area isn't large but it's enough and the washrooms were well kept.

Subway
On jan 18th 2022, I entered subway in sorrento, British Columbia. My intention was to do as I have done for the last 2 years of my subway eating career. When I say career, I mean it! Despite the fact that I was the one paying for the subs, I spent more time eating subway than I did any other meal. Seriously, I can include my snap history as going to subway is a big deal for me & I’ve eaten at subways all over bc & Alberta. Now let's be honest, I'm sure it sounds like I'm a crazy person. Who really loves subway! Likely this is true, but the reason for my fanatical behavior is my daily battle with digestion. Diagnosed a celiac after many years of digestive trouble vomiting and debilitating pain my diagnosis offered me some freedom.Until it came to eating outside my home. The limited options for a celiac in the fast food market are limited. My love for subway has come with the ease of access and discrimination free environment i have experienced, until the 18th of Jan. When an employee made me feel so small because I had a dietary issue and could only eat the gluten free bread.I wanted to use the same coupons i have used multiple times to obtain a footlong sandwich for $8.50 or whatever. PLUS PAY THE ADDITIONAL $3.00 FOR THE GLUTEN FREE BREAD (because each 6inch is an additional $1.50 charge for gluten free) Which I have done before, with out issue. They struggled to see this....Telling me that i don’t get the option to buy a footlong sub. That if i wanted to get the gluten free bread (which is my only option) i could only buy a six inch.I expressed that i understand they are pre packaged and 6 inches, but if you simply take out two 6inch pieces of bread it makes a footlong & i was STILL WILLING TO PAY THE $3.00 FOR BREAD.Again both employees behind the counter laughed at me and said a foot long WASNT an option. I would have to pay for two six inches...A 6 inch club costs $8A foot long costs $11The gluten free bread costs 1.5 per 6inchTherefor a footlong club on gluten free bread SHOULD cost $11+$3 So about $14The employees stood at the counter telling me because i have an allergy, i would have to pay ($8+1.5) twice for two separate 6 inches... making my footlong sub cost $19... (& telling me i couldn’t use the coupon)NOW I UNDERSTAND THAT I WOULD STILL HAVE TO PAY THE EXTRA $3 FOR THE GLUTEN FREE BREAD , but where does the extra $5 come from ? HUH ...Why should i have to pay an extra $1.5 for a 6 inch, BUT AN EXTRA $8 for a footlong. (Because a footlong ISNT an option for me???) how is that fair because someone has an allergy? They even went as far as to say they could just give me the other bread and that would work. I tried again after gaining my composure only to be laughed at.In a place that was once such a joyous and incredibly awesome experience, has been reduced to the sad behavior of two employees who argued what had been done at that specific location numerous times before was never a thing, gaslighting me and belittling me until I left. And that is what I'll do, leave subways solace of delicious gluten-free subway right where it was.Jan 18, 2022The day I quit subway.
