It has been an honor and pleasure to work in an organization with fantastic people and a great culture. I did not only enjoy my stay, but it also gave me a great deal of experience that I can use and apply in the future. I appreciate the Senior Helpers Durham Region team and all your efforts to bring us all together as a family amidst this pandemic. There are no words to describe how grateful I am for the opportunity and all the support you have all given me even for a short time. If it was not because of my future career and my ultimate dream, I would definitely stay. Who can say no to our lovely clients?

We've been using Senior Helpers since November 2019 to allow Dad to stay in his own home. He's very happy and well cared for, enjoying the daily companionship and consistency of care. His caregivers go that extra mile, taking him for drives or shopping or a haircut, or celebrating his birthday. I live two hours away so that peace of mind is invaluable.

I don't normally write reviews about companies, but I felt the need to express how impressed I am with Senior Helpers.My 93 year old Father has dementia and went into a retirement home during the pandemic...disoriented, confused and alone. We originally hired Senior Helpers to be a companion and assist with his care during the transition and 'settling in' period. Our intent was to secure their top notch services for the first month or so...but now I can't imagine both Dad's and our lives without them!They assist with his personal care, take him for walks, chat with him and try to help him through his confused times. They even bring him treats, as he's affectionately known as the cookie monster.I find their flexibility with regards to scheduling and their ability to adjust to the continually changing circumstances, extremely refreshing. Another very interesting and helpful tool is what they call their Family Room". The care givers report daily on this website

We can't speak highly enough about the care that our father has received by the wonderful team at Senior Helpers. On more than one occasion they have been able to provide emergency care after his release from the hospital. They are very dependable and hours are flexible. They worked with us to provide the personalized care that our father needed. Senior Helpers has allowed our father to remain in the home that he loves and provided us with the peace of mind knowing that he is safe and very well cared for. I would definitely recommend this company. We have used their services for the past year and the PSW care has been excellent. They are very responsive and flexible, adjusting the care list and schedule to meet our changing needs.

We have been using Seniors Helpers for our mother who has Lewy Body Dementia. I don’t know what we would do without them as they provide an invaluable service for her, such as getting her out with her helper (Lenni ♥️) for walks, picnics, etc. We work full-time and it’s such a relief to have the extra help for her! We highly recommend this wonderful service!!!
