Traditional Muay Thai School

Definitely get a lot of bang for your buck. Excellent facilities, excellent trainers, and good fun had by all. It's the perfect mix of defense, offense, counters, cardio, and respect for the sport. The slow but steady regiment makes it easy for beginners to learn, and grow from high level trainers that are happy to help and do a good job of keeping things fun but also focused.

You really get a lot out of the monthly membership fee! For adult classes, a single monthly membership gets you up to 9 hours of practice per week including regular practices, advanced practices and flow rounds! The instructors are very knowledgeable, encouraging and willing to push you while also meeting you where you're at. The respect for the art is also strong at this school, where fundamentals, form and conditioning are prioritized over anything else. I have been looking for an organized physical activity for years and Traditional Muay Thai School has met and exceeded all of my expectations!

I just finished my second 8 week women's beginner bootcamp and I am so happy I did. The instructors are so enthusiastic without being aggressive and I am learning defensive skills too. My son has been going for over a year now and it has brought him out of his shell and given him confidence. If you are looking for a great way to work out. This is the place to go. There is no intimidation and I love that I have met new people. Cont'd. I took the summer off and I am happy to see some familiar faces and some new ones. They have a new ring and an event coming up that I can't wait to attend.

Above average program for little ones. Coach James and his team have the skill to keep toddlers involved, engaged and interested while improving their skills. Bravo!

Great and fun workout for all levels and ages! There's a ladies bootcamp and there is kids classes for the youngest fans out there. James is awesome with kids, so if you're looking at something fun for your kids to get engaged in this is it! Janine is a great instructor too for the ladies bootcamp with lots of energy and experience.

My boys have participated in Muay Thai here for nearly a year and it has been wonderful. The physical activity and discipline components are fantastic, and the coaches have been patient with our particular needs and struggles. Definitely recommend!

Just finished my second round of the 8 week women’s bootcamp and I can’t say enough good things! The staff does a fantastic job teaching the classes, and it’s definitely a great atmosphere to work out in. Such an amazing workout! Highly recommend

Been training here 3 times a week for about 2 months now and love it, very knowledgeable instructors and the gym feels like home with every member I've met being a good person. Nothing bad to say about any part of the people or the gym.My younger brother and sister have been in the kids beginner class for the same time and I've heard nothing but good things from them about it. Everyone's always doing something and Kru James is great with the kids as are his assistants.Looking forward to training further under Kru James and Kru Jason, can't say enough good about this place.

I cannot recommend Traditional Muay Thai enough! I recently started regularly attending the adult beginner classes as well as the women's bootcamp and it is the highlight of my day. This is my first experience with any kind of martial art so I was a bit nervous to join but the instructors and students are incredibly welcoming. The instructors are encouraging and funny while being professional and excellent teachers. In addition to learning technique, every class is a great workout as they will push you, but not in a crazy way. I have some pre-existing injuries that I was worried about but Kru James and Kru Jason are great at suggesting alternatives when something is hurting. I'm so thrilled to have found such an amazing place to train in Chilliwack!
