Quality Time

In early December I made an appointment with Jamie to have him look at a grandfather clock we had recently inherited. On the day/time of the appointment, he did not show up or call. After waiting for an hour, I called him and he said he was running late. I had another appointment so we re-scheduled, he was on time for this appointment. He went over the clock and fixed a few minor things, then educated me on what repairs were still needed. I was impressed with his knowledge. We made another appointment for early January to complete the repairs. I received a message from Jamie on 1/7/21 stating he was experiencing a family emergency and wouldn’t be able to make our appointment. I returned his call and left him a voicemail stating I understood and to please call when he would be able to reschedule. To date I have not received a follow up call from Jamie in spite of my leaving multiple messages for him. I’ve asked him to simply let me know if he’s unable to complete the work due to his family situation, but nearly 2 months later I have not had a single call returned. I understand that life happens and sometimes situations are beyond our control; however, I’m extremely disappointed Jamie could not return any of my calls to let me know he couldn’t complete the work. I will be finding someone else to work on my clock from now on.

This is my rebuttal! They had the clock for over 18 months, tried too contact them, no reply. When they finally called me back I was told that the parts were in and the clock would be ready.I asked him if I could split the cost into 2 months. I missed the first payment. Now he tells me he is not in the business to store the clock after I waited over 18 months with no contact and when he was telling me about his family issues why could not get back to me.So now when family issues happened to me he didn't care to listen but informed me he wasn't in the business to store my clock.Now I want to explain about the bounced check.We relocated to Idaho so I would get help from my son and his wife. My wife is now being treated for dementia and receives great care with the help of the family. Our account at Chase Bank was closed and we reopened a new account with Idaho Central credit union. I apologized but he demanded I pay him in cash!Now I believe he can't even tell the truth

Jamie just called me and we talked over the possibilities to repair my beautiful Hershede grandfather clock!! He has me on his schedule. Thanks Jamie for the call!! I look forward to hearing the beautiful chimes playing again in my home!! Lora

Highly recommend. Jamie is very knowledgeable and does great work. Happy to have my clock working again. The house just isn’t the same without it chiming. Will use them again in the future!

The food is delicious! Even though extremely popular, they are well organized and work through orders quickly.

Dropped my $1500 watch off in July. When I called in July, they picked up the phone, and said they would get back to me in a week. Fast forward 3 months. Have called them both now, 5 times over the last months. Unacceptable. At this point I just want my watch back. I guess I am filing a small claims court case. Really sad that a small business in Boise can think it is acceptable to do this to a consumer. If you are too busy to return calls from people that have trusted you with their personal property, maybe you should not be taking on too much business that puts you in this position.

Jamie was quick to answer my initial call. Got the correct parts the first time and quickly considering the time of year. Call to let us know and set a schedule to do the repair in our home. Showed up on time. Very professional. Final price below his estimate. Highly recommended. He is a second generation clock repairman.

Jamie has been great to work with repairing a family heirloom grandfather clock. He had to order a few parts and kept me up to date on when the repair would be completed. Highly recommend!!

HOORAY! After another visit (with two more family antique watches), I just want to say how bowled over we are by the beautiful work done to these watches. Ray went way above and beyond the call of duty. The watches look STUNNING, in addition to keeping perfect time. Ray found a new movement for my watch, and the new" antique face he found is even prettier than the original.
