Food Works Craft Catering

We had Garret and the team at Food Works Craft Catering Provide us with lunch for our internal team building day. What looked like lunch in a carton was magic in a box!! The ciabatta bread was equally as fresh as the ingredients in the hand held sandwiches and the smoked maple dressing was drinkable, it was so good! As always, whether a plated meal, buffet or this kind of lunch, you knock it out of the park!! Long overdue but, thank you for what you do.

Our wedding food was absolutely fantastic thanks to Garret and the team at Food Works Craft Catering! Our guests really were blown away by not only the food but the service as well! From Handmade Bao Buns & Tater Tots for our Late Night Snack to Chicken Supreme stuffed with Wild Mushrooms & Leeks, our Menu was spectacular start to finish.Garret really went above and beyond throughout the whole planning process as well, from creating our tailored menu to working out the day of details, Garret made sure everything was taken care of so the day could flow smoothly! Not to mention Garret and his team stepped up to assist wherever we needed extra hands from Bar Service to cake cutting and serving our desserts, the Food Works team really made our event go off without a hitch! Cannot reccomend this catering team enough!

Garret worked with us through all of the changes with the COVID-19 pandemic and our ever changing wedding plans. He ultimately was able to cater our anniversary party, and the food was the highlight of the party. All of the food was elegant and beautifully presented. We are so grateful for Garret's flexibility with our event and are thrilled with his services and could not recommend a better caterer. It was an incredible experience and some of the best food we have ever had!

Where do I even begin with this review! I reached out to Garret a year before our wedding day which was on May 27th of this year. I was told about Food Works from some other vendors we had booked and after I looked on their website, I knew I wanted to book them. The menus they had on their website sounded like what we wanted for our wedding. Garret created our menu, and it sounded amazing! There was only one dish we changed on the menu and that was simply due to preference. We had the opportunity to do our food tasting a week prior to the wedding, cutting it close because of us, not them! Our food tasting was with Carlos, and it was such a great time! He was fun and easy to talk to and provided us with samples from the menu. We were blown away and excited with how amazing the food tasted. We changed NOTHING on the menu from the tasting because there was no need to. Every dish was perfection! We got married at the Brownstone (best venue ever) and were glad we booked Food Works as they have worked with this venue many times. Their set up for dinner service (we did a buffet) worked perfectly with how the venue was set up. Garret was very accommodating to some guests that had allergies. We did poutine and pizza for our midnight lunch, and that was such a hit! We had friends/family compliment the food throughout the entire night. In fact, it's been almost a month since we got married, and people are still talking about the food!! I know this review is long, but they deserve all the praise in the world. My husband and I often joke that we would get married again tomorrow, just to have our menu again! Garett and the whole team at Food Works hold a special place in our hearts. I can't wait to work with them again in the future for another occasion!

Garret and his team were amazing to work with, and they made amazing food for our wedding! He created a custom menu for our wedding buffet, and our guests raved about it. Everyone enjoyed it, even our picky eaters! We did a tasting with Carlos before the big day. He was such a great host to my husband and I, providing not only great food but great conversation. We would highly recommended Food Works!

Garret and Food Works catered an event we had for Lamborghini Calgary. Garret was outstanding and exceeded all of our expectations. Food was fantastic, Garret and his team were on top of everything, and so friendly and accommodating, with top-notch service. The displays were phenomenal. Couldn't recommend more.

WE LOVE FOOD WORKS! Chef Garret & Food Works catered our evening, cocktail-style wedding and we could not have been happier with their work. Garret collaborated with us to create an elegant & modern Italian-inspired menu of passed canapés, small plates, desserts, and late-night snacks. The menu was catered to our taste and included items that were suited to everyone in the crowd. We and our guests were treated to absolutely delicious food, literally everyone loved & raved about it!
