I love dealing with Larry, he has always been great to chat with,and I always enjoy the visit when I get down there, which isn't enough. I travel around a few other shops to deal with South Nation, and Larry in particular. Thanks for being what archers and bow hunters need in a shop!!!!

I highly recommend visiting this shop for all your archery needs. The level of expertise you get here from the owners is unmatched by big-box stores. Competitive prices as well on a selection of products that you will see by the owners successes will bring results. Bought a bow and the owners include a free lesson and bow setup that I believe is almost as valuable as my bow itself. I will definitely be returning for future products and advice that you just can't find with online shopping.Also the owners take great care to ensure that the store is safe from COVID with appropriate precautions.

We are so lucky to have access to this great business in the National Capital Region. Kathy Millar and Larry Smith run a true archery shop and are passionate about everything they do. It is rare to find the dedication and expertise that can be found here. The knowledge and commitment in this small shop is second to none. The extra drive is worth the effort, hands down.

I was interested in archery but didn't know where to begin. I saw some good reviews and figured I'd make the drive to check out SNAS. Fantastic experience, would recommend to anyone.Larry got me setup with everything I needed. He checked my eye dominance and set everything to the right settings. More importantly, and invaluably, included in the cost of the bow was Larry actually showing me how to shoot it.He spent quite some time showing me how to shoot, watching me shoot, and correcting my bad habits. I went in thinking I needed the biggest bow with the heaviest draw weight, and realized quickly that that wasn't going to be the fast-track to hunting success. Leave your ego at the door. Ignore the marketing hype. Larry or Kathy will help you get started on the right path. And I'm certain everyone will learn a thing or two in the process.Larry and Kathy are clearly passionate about archery and know their stuff. If you're looking to get started with a bow in the Ottawa area (or anywhere else in Eastern Ontario) I think the drive out to South Nation Archery is worth your time.

Amazing place with a wide variety of bows, arrows, and accessories. The owners are exceedingly knowledgeable about archery and have assuredly forgotten more about archery than I'll probably ever know in my lifetime. Super helpful and I will be shopping there for any and all archery needs from here on out.
