Parking Lot at Lagoon Beach
Our favorite daily walk with the mountains of Washington State at waters edge. The Canadian Naval Base with Historic Fort Rodd Hill's lighthouse. Lots of ducks and geese to see. Seals pop up every now and then. There's a family of otters you may see or this raccoon who sleeps high in the tree along the road.

Free is good in this day and age, You can sit and watch the ocean or the birds in the lagoon from the comfort of the car.

It was a beautiful place. Water on either side. The beach on the clean side was so sandy and soft sand. There's were lots of logs on the beach so getting across was like hoping over the logs... The water was really cold. The view was nice, vast ocean and the land and water on the other side of the road... The washroom was nice and clean open from 8am to 8pm.

Great place to nature watch, people watch, universe watch. Calm soothing ... a mustAnd while you're at it, check out the bird sculptures.Please remember to take all your bring in to the lagoon. There are garbage bins everwhere.

Colwood now allows food trucks on the roadside. We stopped by Molly's British Fish and Chips. The food was great, service friendly and the price was awesome. Really enjoyed this treat so if Fish and Chips is your thing...stop and try Molly's ...num num num num....wipe repeat.

A lot of parking available on both sides of the road all along this stretch. Some garbage cans throughout as well. Bathrooms at one end.

Love this spot.I DJ'd down the beach years ago. Then, after hanging out there for a while after I moved here, I realized that was the spot!Indeed magical. We go and get ripped here every day.

Parking Lot at Lagoon Beach
Good view of the waters. I visit this place when I miss the beach at my home (Chittagong, Bangladesh). You may come with your car, park here, and enjoy the view by yourself, or with your loved one or friends. So far, I found the place to be very calm and peaceful. Sunny days are good to come with kids and have a running around time. The not so sunny days are very calm and quiet. The bus stop is less than a minute walk and very convenient.
