Dr Janakie Singham

The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the support staff (receptionist Michelle) is unbelievably unprofessional and impossible to get a hold of. Her replies to me varied from 2-3 words to a thumbs up" emoji for a reply. Honestly its as though a pre-teen was working the reception on her Iphone....ridiculous.Dr Singham however

She does not respect patient's decisions for their own care. She is dismissive and does not provide adequate opportunity to ask questions, nor does she give proper information about her patients' health or treatment. There are huge delays in treating patients. Also, she is very inaccessible to reach, with no ability to phone her office but only email. The response time is poor, and emails are written unprofessionally and lacking adequate information. There are delays in refilling prescription, poor medical advice, won't follow up with patients, and she has even forgotten that I am her patient before. Also, both she and her office admin are very rude.

Dr. Singham is a fantastic doctor. Very understanding, warm-hearted and knowledgeable. She is a very great listener and gave really good advice during my appointment. I was lucky to be able to meet her and every appointment since 2017, she has treated me with such kindness and empathy.

Nothing but bad experience with this clinic. I was unfortunately referred to this doctor by my GP. I was sent an email from this clinic with an appointment date (a year’s wait away). When I went to this address a year later, it was permanently closed. No staff, no doctor. Other patients were there too and we were all asked to return and contact our family doctors because this doctor went AWOL without so much as an email to cancel pre-booked appointments. It cannot get more unprofessional than this. Such a disgrace to the Canadian healthcare system.

Dr. Janakie Singham is one of the worst Doctors I have had. I came to her with issues from my Crohn's Disease. I had previous surgeries in the past and was still in pain many years after. After seeing her, see told me there was nothing wwrong with me and that it was all in my head. I ended up in Emergancy due the pain. I was referred to a surgeon again, Dr Cowie, and he suspected I had adhesions from my previous surgeries. Where the bowels basically glue themselves together with scar tissue. Dr Cowie performed a 3 hours surgery to free everything up and I'm now painfree. Dr. Singham is a idiot and her attitude is arrogance. Save yourself a lot of trouble and don't go to this doctor.

The experience I had with not only this doctor but the MOA Michelle is beyond awful and disgusting. I'm 20 years old and experniced rectal bleeding. I went to dr. singham in which she did half a scope. At the time of the scope she never checked up with myself and as the scope was ending she said nothing was found I'm suspecting it's hemmorriods" and than the nurse started to help me out of the room before I could ask her anything. She did no follow up calls and it's been months since I had my scope. I kept bleeding more and more and got extremely sick

I appreciate how knowledgeable and patient Dr. Singham is. Irrespective of whether it's over the phone or in person, she gives you her full attention and you never feel rushed.

If the Dr. is going to be as busy as she is, perhaps she needs more help or better help. Takes forever for someone to get back to me. They claim they never get the message or forget to send a promised email. There is zero point pressing 6 for reception, they will not answer. Telling a customer that, if this is an emergency

This doctor has no reception staff who actually pick up the phone. It goes to a voice recording. They also said they would email in 2-3 business days. It is now going on 2 weeks and there has still been no response. I can't even book an appointment!!!

Terrible Receptionist (Michelle) useless doctor. Complete waste of time.If someone recommends you to this doctor, just do your best to change that.
