I really wanted to enjoy this store as it seems very interesting and also to support non profit organizations in town. However, my friend and I were told to leave our bags outside the building! I understand how bags can be an issue, many stores in town will have you leave them at the front behind the desk, that is completely reasonable and I understand. But in this situation we had no less than $4,000 worth of camera supplies as we were doing a shoot around Kamloops. We even tried to negotiate to leave them at the front but no luck. I personally am not comfortable leaving my back outside and I hope that this policy will change.

Unfortunatly I won't be coming back here. The no backpack/purse rule is absurd. They wouldnt even allow me to put my backpack behind the counter. They turn away business because they fail to do what every other thrift store does.

Amazing! Best thrift store I've been in, in a very long time. Possibly ever. In terms of the variety of stuff they sell, very low prices, very good items and the fact that I actually goes to support a hospital it's just an added plus. The only downside is that even 15 minutes before the store closes all of the workers are literally trying to rush you out of the store which is quite weird since the store was still open for another 15 minutes and people were just looking for more things to spend money on but I guess the six store employees had places to go immediately after the store closed at 3 p.m. lol

I love it there I get good used stuff for cheap and sometimes the stuff I buy is brand new for a few dollars better than Walmart prices

The staff and volunteers here are extremely rude. They are verbally abusive and catty. I have witnessed staff talking badly about people in the store. Not a good place to shop or donate.

My review used to be 5/5 but went in today and all but one staff member were so rude. I could hear staff at the front of the store profiling people. I was at the back of the store and able to hear this. They were treating everyone like criminals. I could hear how they wanted me to leave my small backpack with my brand new Macbook pro in it at the front of the store when they don't even watch the items. But they never did ask me, just had people watch and follow me instead, treating me like a criminal. I paid for my things and left and I will no longer shop or donate here or reccomending that others do either.

I own a thrift store. I don't drive. Being the good liberal citizen I am being conscious of the popular trend wagon climate change nonsense, I walk and take the transit. I have been shopping here for decades, back to when the store was in the basement of another location. Today I was turned away because I had a backpack. Backpacks are no longer allowed in stores because I would assume the junkie epidemic this town is facing. So for being a good citizen these people discriminated me and punished me for a global junkie epidemic that has been created by the very charity health care system they collect for??? Absolutely surreal! I will be contacting a human rights tribunal for justice. Won't be spending another dime here.
