I have had to visit the Arnprior Hospital twice in the last month with my 11 year old son. Both times we have have amazing service. The triage nurse Katie was super friendly and even asked about my son about his sports for his second visit. We saw Dr Ott the first time and Dr Cakarevic the second. Both doctors were friendly and knowledgeable and were able to help us quickly. Both visits we were in and out in less than 1.5 hours, which I was very impressed with.Thank you Arnprior Hospital for the great service and care for my son!

I recently had to visit emerge . I was working next door to the Arnprior hospital .When you think most hospitals are the same and you get dumbfounded by the dedication and service of two individuals who served me .Don’t get me wrong , I cherish all hospitals and first responders for their services , but this is one story and shout out I’d like to share .Aren’t the wait times worth it when you walk away a better person ?Andy is a veteran paramedic filling in as the triage nurse . His bedside manner was impeccable! I can’t say enough about someone who works a long stressful job and then has enough compassion to endure more when tough times are upon us . My hats off to you Andy and I’m honoured that someone like you is constantly saving lives ! Thank you !I originally called to see if the hospital had and emerge department. I explained my current issue with Jaime and she said well hurry up and get over here and we will get you fixed up !I sat in the waiting area and watched this bubbly person zoom in and out . Bringing coffee to Andy and talking to patients and children as if she knew and loved them all !Turns out, that’s Jaime . I finally got to patient registration and she already knew who I was . She treated me like family instantly . Jaime puts more hours in one week than most can do in three weeks ! Months and months of overtime and her smile looks 10 minutes fresh ! Dedication , pride and compassion fuel this little lady ! She strikes me as the type of person that hands out hugs instead of lollipops .Some people in this world still wear their hearts on their sleeves for all to see .Andy and Jaime , just know I will pay this forward .Bill

Horrible experience with triage nurse. Was told that my sore throat that I’m worried could be strep was not an emergency and basically were unsure if they’d see me or not. I’ve been sick for 2 weeks, can’t get into my family dr, and it’s dead in here but they aren’t sure if they can see me because I’m not an “emergency”. Do better Arnprior Hospital. This is why most of the residents of Arnprior do not support this hospital.

Hey if you let someone sit in the waiting room for 6 hours and they have a cut that may or may not need stitches can you tell them wether or not they are wasting their time maybe in the first three hours. If I don’t need to be here at least tell me

The person at reception was extremely rude when asking what the approximate wait time for the emergency room is like. She said she doesn't give that information and hung up on me. Even though the Almonte hospital happily told me their approximate wait time. Receptionist needs to work on her people skills and be friendlier.

Doctor Mohammad Nejad is a terrible doctor. I came in with lower pelvic pain. The pain was so excruciating it was hard for me to walk at home. After calling telehealth, they advised me to go to emergency. This doctor did not run any tests (blood work, ultrasound) he didn’t check my urine sample(didn’t even know I gave one) for infection before he was about to discharge me. As I expressed that my severe pain subsided due to the Advil I took at home, but still was in pain, HE kept telling ME that I feel normal. Laughed a couple times when I questioned things and expressed concern. Told me it could be my appendix or bad ovulation pain. If it was my appendix, shouldn’t tests have been run to rule that out?! Discharged me with the recommendation that I take Advil. Called my doctor the next day and they sent me for blood work and ultrasound. All I know is I have a cyst that ruptured, but still waiting on results from my doctor. Very disappointed with the care that took place at this hospital. If I am able to drive else where in case of emergency, I will happily do so before I ever come back here.

Had day surgery yesterday. We hear how bad the health system is right now but my experience was nothing short of excellent. Admin intake process, pre operation care, operating nurses, the Anaesthetists, and post surgery care was amazing. There was a very positive culture among the team and a sense of community care. When I required a consult I met my surgeon at the Almonte hospital then had surgery in Arnprior. There is something to be said about our rural hospitals. They punch well above their weight. I hope government officials take note of the importance of these community hospitals and the support they provide their communities and the larger cities they surround.

I had day surgery there yesterday ( Dr Silverman from OPS) admin was swamped with issues, but super nice and patient despite the other more irate people. The nurses are amazing. Especially Cheryl in the OR recovery. Very kind, and gentle (I’m scared of needles) and after my surgery…nurses were amazing. I just had to take a minute to say how great they were and how appreciative I was of their incredible care. Thank you!

Went in to emerg with a corneal abrasion. The triage nurse was understanding and he helped me find my way around.Got into see Dr Abu Dieh in the special eye room. He got me sorted out, gave me an rx, and found me a specialist.Great experience overall.
