I have been here whenever I need a quick hair cut. Used to have tickets system for like $10 per cut including tip. Now it is $12 plus whatever you heart tells ýou to add ... ;-).

Came here after York shut down was lifted. They were super fast. Cash only. A short wait time and they do drop-in only. If you're a male looking for a quick cut, nothing complicated, this is the place to be! Very satisfied. 12 dollars for male cut.

If you need a quick and low priced cut ($11 for men's cut only - July 2017), this locally owned business is a place to go. Other hairstylist services for men and women are available. It is right across from Markville Mall. Surface parking and transit accessible.

Budget cut, quick and efficient. Like that he uses the hair dryer as he goes to get the cut hair off of you. No need to shower after...unless you need to.

Terrible. My mom got a hair cut from here and it was choppy, uneven and unprofessional. Even I could am able to cut it better... $14 waste. If you do go here, go to the male hairdresser.

I have been coming to HK Hair Design for almost 20 years, and have always requested Patrick as my barber. I am delighted that he now owns the establishment. I have found over the years that Patrick has been attentive to my hair needs, which over the course of 20 years you can imagine the amount of stylistic preference changes. He has always done a superb job, telling me what is possible and what isn't. He has worked on all my kids, and the experience at HK Hair Design has always yielded tremendous value. Back when they used to take the coupons, haircuts were the cheapest anywhere. Even at current prices, it is more than fair value for a man's haircut. The service is pretty good, Patrick always accommodates my schedule, and the service is consistently friendly and fair. The shop is always hopping with lots of customers, many of whom are long standing clients like myself. I do like the fact that HK provides some good community value for seniors' haircuts and will accommodate any particular special needs. Patrick told me today they have cut hair of people as young as one-week-old and as old as 103. I am very pleased to call Patrick and HK (now renamed Markham Hair) as my barber/hairstylist of choice. Keep up the great work and thanks again!

Been coming here for as long as I can remember (25+ years) and they never disappoint for male haircuts. Patrick is the new boss and they just reopened after the Ontario lockdown. New hardwood floors, new washroom, new TV and plexiglass. Only 3 clients allowed in at a time under Stage 2 rules. I wouldn't trust my hair to anybody else.
