Elms Weeping Tile Ltd

Elms weeping tile is run and owned by an individual Trevor Elms who is a bully and rude person. I don't think I have experienced any company like this before. Trevor Elms is one of the worst individuals I have ever encountered. I have been in business for over 35 yrs and have never been treated like Trevor treated me. When they did not deliver on what they said they were going to do and then when you call Trevor Elms on it, he turns into a raging lying bully. I held back $1000 so they would replace my damaged tree and fix my landscaping and wow Trevor threatened to lien my house. If you want to deal with a company like this beware. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone at all.

We bought a house about 5 years ago and soon after discovered leaks in two corners of the basement. Elms (who BTW had nothing to do with the original basement and weeping tile) came and facilitated a repair whereby both corners were hydro-vacked and sealed with a rubber membrane. The cost was very reasonable. One corner has been good since. The other was much tougher to cure and Elms were required to come back a few times to try different methods of repair. Trevor the owner knows all the tricks and finally I believe he had fixed our issue. Of all this the most amazing thing was we’re never been charged anything after the first repair ... amazing. This is service that goes beyond anything you see these days and there is no business I have ever encountered that stands behind their work like these guys. Need basement or weeping tile work done? This is the only call you need to make ... period. BTW they also do Radon testing and remediation.

Very fast response time for what was thought to be a foundation crack. Was provided with all possible scenarios and quoted on the worst case scenario but the excellent work done initially resulted in minor repair work. Greatly appreciated the honesty of what was found. I was also told to call if any future problems arose for another quick response. Nice to deal with a considerate business!

We called Trevor for a free consultation regarding some bad leaking in our basement. He ended up replacing our weeping tile and even went as far as digging up the basement floor to put in additional weeping tile and a second sump pump. (Our house was built on a spring and the original weeping tile was not put in properly). The service from day one was outstanding. The guys were professional and prompt. Trevor will still answer his phone a year later regarding any questions we may have. I cannot express our gratitude. Trevor saved our basement and our house. Highly recommended.

Was quoted 40% more then lenbeth weeping tile for the same scope of work, owner (Trevor) spend 3 minutes at my house, over quoted and didnt take anytime to discuss the issue, was rude and very pointed, learn some respect and how to treat people Trevor. Seems like the company is more concerned with overcharging and rushing through quotes then offering competetive pricing and good customer service.

First of all I am sadly disappointed that I had to give this company even 1 star to write this review. I should of read the reviews before I went forward with the work. I found the owner Trevor to be extremely rude and extremely unaware of the poor workmanship and lack of quality he delivers. Even though the job I had them do was minor, the cost of of damage and clean up far exceeded what I payed for after he left. It was evident that zero F#$%KS were given on this job! I would of rather heard he wasn't interested in the job and I could of made other arrangements. Anyways what's done is done. If I could show photos of how things were left I would be able to save a lot of people from the same experience. I honestly thought maybe he just had a bad day, but after reading other reviews it was evident that's the way he operates.

Called Trevor at ELMS after our home inspection discovered an issue with the sump. Trevor was very knowledge and even went to the sellers home on a long weekend to inspect and give an estimate. Highly recommend,

Trevor is very unprofessional, is rude and disrespectful. He shows up to our workplace and urinates in our sink. I would not recommend him based on his morals.

I truly recommend Elms Weeping Tile Ltd. Trevor and his crew have helped us out with more than one home (one in Laurier Heights and one in Parkview). Each time, they have delivered on what they promised, their quotes were accurate without any hidden fees and were very easy to deal with. Keep up the great work!!!
