Minty Nail Salon Abbotsford

I had a wonderful first experience at Minty! I was blown away by the care and artistry that went into my manicure and pedicure. They don’t rush you through with just one or two coats; multiple coats were applied until my nails looked perfect, and will surely be very durable. Five stars!

I came in to the shop to get my current nails removed and then get a full set, as I wanted my nails a different shape from the current. The nail tech insisted I just do a fill, so I did. I have been getting my nails done for over 5 years, and the longest it has ever taken me for a fill is 45 mins (regardless of salon). At Minty's nail salon, they took 1 hour & 25 minutes to do a fill and just plain simple polish. If i knew it was going to take this long, I would have rather stuck to removal and full set. The nail tech said it was normal for it to take this long as i was getting them shaped from coffin to almond. This exact service with a simple one color polish, has never took me more than 45 mins. When I asked the lady how long, she responded quite rudely. This made me very uncomfortable and made me super anxious. She also seemed very judgey of the polish color i selected for myself. The nails however, turned out decent but definitely not worth the 1 hour and 25 minutes.

My grad was the next day and I booked an appointment. When I called them they were extremely unfriendly and rude and wouldn’t communicate properly. When I got there they made me wait even though I had an appointment. The lady who did my nails has a bad attitude and was extremely rude, and kept talking abt me to other workers. I will not go back to this place or recommend it. They’re services was also bad and they did not trim my nails before. They also were too busy taking care of “personal” problems during my work. She was very rude. Over all I willNot go here, go to Crea8ive if you want the kindest and amazing experience. My worker was also rude to ppl who walked in. Underneath my nail is also messy and my French tip has no polish in many edges

I’ve been to many salons, but have never been able to find many options when it came to yellow colors, today was a different story, I was able to find the exact color I was searching for.Today went into the Minty without an appointment and had an excellent service,where multiple technicians worked on my nails, and worked very hard for ensure they’d look great, and lined up straight, they also stayed after hours to complete my nails, which I find to be outstanding service.I have already boasted about my service to family and friends and made referrals to myfriends about how great of a salon it is and how I felt like what I wanted was cared about.I think I just found my new favorite salon, I’ll definitely be coming back to minty for future services, the prices are reasonable and the service is exceptional.I’m so happy with my service, thank you so much minty, and all my technicians.

I was a walk in for a pedicure last Friday. I will never return. The lady who was looking after me was very rough and actually cut my toe with the cuticle nipper. You would think a loud ouch! would have stopped her but no, she continued on. I finally had to say NO CUTTING to her and I believe she understood finally - no English. The massage was very hard, I felt she was trying to take my leg off at the knee. I'll give it to her, she had extremely strong hands! I now have an infection on my big toe. What was supposed to be a relaxing treat was definitely NOT. The technician did say sorry at the end but that's truly not good enough.

I received a manicure and pedicure here. For my pedicure my toes were all uneven and shaped slanted, I asked the lady to fix them and she filed them for a moment but they all still looked bad. The next day my toe started hurting and I realized I got an infection. Do not go here. Unsanitary and they do not care about customer satisfaction.

Worst experience, stay away ! My daughter booked an appointment for nails and they made her wait 45 minutes in-spite of having an appointment. Most unprofessional and terrible service ! The worst part is they did nothing besides a casual sorry. Shameful such shops exits who don’t value other peoples time

Love this nail salon. Having recently moved to the area, I went to Minty 4 weeks ago for my first of what will be many appointments to come. The nail technician I had was very friendly, very personable and took excellent care of my very long natural nails. She was fantastic and the salon itself is clean and bright with comfortable mani stations and huge beautiful pedi massage chairs. Thank you and looking forward to see you again soon - the polish from 4 weeks ago is still holding up like new! =)

Would not recommend. It took 2 hours to get a new fresh set of acrylics. One hand turned out great for the shape the other turned out super chunky and thick and the shape is wide and some are thin and flat spots on some of the nails from it being drilled down too much in one spot. When the lady painted my nails she only did one layer for the colour so it’s not super vibrant and it’s patchy. I showed the lady a picture of a modern French tip the one that is quite popular today with the arch and the colour of the tip is half down my nail with little to no arch. When I told the lady that the colour was too far down the nail she said it was fine and continued to do the other nails. Awful experience will be now going elsewhere to get them fixed, definitely not worth $68. Very unsatisfied.
