DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Victoria

We were a family of five and stayed in one of the suites. The suite was well appointed. Service was top notch, from the front desk staff & valet to housekeeping. It is walking distance to many attractions within Victoria and the ferry back to Seattle. We would certainly stay here again.

I’ve stayed here many times over the past few years. Consistently friendly service, spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast room doubles as an Italian pizza restaurant by night and the food was great. Bottom floor has a great Pub with good food. The Starbucks in the lobby is very handy. Location is perfect and close to everything downtown. Special thanks to the very friendly and welcoming valet and breakfast/restaurant staff. As a Diamond member, the complimentary room upgrade is often well worth it, as the hotel has some lovely spacious suites and rooms with phenomenal views.

The front-desk is nice, and their services are excellent! I thought 4-stars hotels have at least one small swimming pool and an easy gym room, and guests can call the slippers if they need, but this double-tree doesn’t have things above except bottle water with $2. Actually I pay $2 tips for anything I want, including bottles water, every time when I need more water, but I had never been charged for water by an international chain hotels before. The sound of the air conditioner engine is very loud in the basic city view rooms and nearby the bed, so I’m confused the hotel design and how comes to be 4 stars. However, comparing the basic room, a suite of a room is not very expensive but bigger and quieter so worth to own it. The city view is perfect!

This is the first time I have stayed at Double Tree and was pleasantly surprised. I loved the friendliness of the staff at the Victoria, BC location. I also love their cookies. The rooms was immaculately clean and the beds were very comfortable. This location was very central to everything after my business was completed I was able to navigate downtown and the harbor area of Victoria.I loved the parking experience and the system was seamless. Overall, I would recommend this location for business or vacation.

This hotel is amazing. Victoria is a beautiful city but this hotel and staff are above and beyond. Prompt service, beds you can “bounce a quarter on” and breathtaking views of the harbor. I’m a Diamond member and I know great service when I see it. Beyond 5 stars on every level. I’m here in business but have decided to return with my family for vacation in summer. Bravo

Close to many highlights of Victoria. Valet parking only option for $27. If you drive an electric vehicle you get a courtesy recharge for your trip back home. Washroom has floor light so it is not completely dark at night. The fans at night are a little loud so may consider turning it off as the auto function will go on and off throughout the night to adjust to temperature settings . You get a cookie as a welcome.

Had a great stay! Only blip was the pull out bed, it was pretty uncomfortable but that was fine too. Arnel at the front desk was amazing help. He helped my grandma and I with all our questions and concerns, going as far as to look at our flights and make sure our checkout the following morning was as smooth as possible. He was fantastic. Wonderful service would absolutely stay here again. (Cleaning ladies on the third floor we’re lovely as well, helped get us some extra towel and more!)

Perfect location right by the wharf and other drugs. The staff were all friendly and extraordinarily helpful. Breakfast was very tasty. Most importantly beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
