Mikkey Barbershop

I’d seen Mikkey’s from my car while in traffic on Portage Ave. It looked like a barber shop out of a movie (!) Bustling and happy. So I decided to stop by and give them a try. I’m a middle aged woman with a head full of grey curls. When I walked in this morning, Yonas greeted me at the door, and then I had one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. I told him that I wanted a trim, and some off the back. He did a beautiful job, was as friendly and welcoming as could be, and treated me like a queen. The vibe was chill, the music nice, and Yonas was a wonderful host. We had a great chat as I was paying, and I hope to be back again when I need a trim . Highly recommended. If you can feel the vibe of a place from moving traffic, they must be doing something right! Thank you Yonas and Mikkey Barbershop!

Walked in without appointment, got my hair cut and my beard taken care of right away. Good service and nice atmosphere. Can recommend and will go there again.

The barber did a good job he didnt rush, he took his time and paid attention to detail. I'll definitely be back for more fresh cuts.

Great service, really good prices. No appointment is necessary. You can walk in, and they'll be able to help you out. Very professional, just remember it is a barbershop, so it is not customary to get a wash. it is just the cut.

Incompetent & greedy place.The barber of short stature couldn't perform a simple haircut from a photo after a series of hair fixes & asked $33 for it, which costs $15-17 at nearby barbershops. Not to mention the process was painful.Too bad I didn't ask his name.Wouldn't recommend to anyone, 0 out of 5(sadly I have to give one star to post a comment).Deep disappointment.

It was a great 1st experience for my son and I. He wasn't thrilled, but sat like a champ lol Now he likes his new cut!

This is the fantastic place to have the best hair cut. The guy named NATI who served me is a very smiling and PRO in hairstyle. He took care of everything. It feels like a family place. Everyone their are smiling faces. I would definitely go to this place every time whenever I need haircut.

Visited here twice, the first time was ok, but the second time was a nightmare! The barber had no clue what he was doing, took a good hour and half trying to figure out what to do! And when he finished he told his friend : crisis averted!!!". I had to go to another place just to fix the length of the hair on both sides! The only reason for 2 stars is the first time the service was reasonable

First time trying this Barbershop and would say the service is excellent. Not easy to find a stylist who is able to understand exactly what I want and what suit for my brother haircut and perms. Will definitely come back and highly recommend….
