Mary, hear me out.That tall blond old woman who was saying that the “rude” employee stocking shelves called her stupid- is lying through her teeth. Straight lying. Because if she was shopping at “this Metro” for “30 years” don’t you think she would know where it is?? I was within ear shot of the conversation but became physically present by the time she blew up at him over nothing. She gave him a hard time about finding sugar and she lost her mind when he didn’t bend to her BS. Then she started to threaten managers “I’m going to talk to Eric and Mary about you!!” And then she tried to vent to every bystander and employee about how she was a victim before you showed up.She should be ashamed of herself for being as old as she was, acting in such a way. When I walked up to you and this woman and told you that he didn’t call her stupid, that was the real truth.The old guy who stocks the shelves is polite and nice and smiles when you walk by- and I can speak to his character since I have been passing him since I was an unruly teenager. What shameful behaviour that woman has displayed. She needs to be better.Vent over

Good selection, quality produce, staff exceptionally helpful. I don't go there very often but all my interactions with the stuff were always positive . One time I was walking around with my backpack half open and things were about to start falling out. One staff member stopped me and pointed out that I may lose something. Clean store. Nice flower shop. Big selection of take-out food. On the expensive side, but everything is a good quality.

Very nice Metro, lots of variety even wine and beer selection. The store is always clean busy and well stocked. Expensive, but besides no frills these days, I guess they all are. Easy parking accessibility and would recommend if you have mobility issues or just looking for a one stop shop.

Just stopped by to purchase a cake for my daughters birthday. The clerk at the cake counter was pleasant and she was patient with the special message we wanted on the cake. I didn't get her name; she was an Asian lady.When cashing out we were helped by a lady by the name of Jasmine. She was super friendly, very efficient and was interacting with all customers in a friendly manner. Even though I asked for one bag she had the presence of mind to offer me another bag so i could put the cake in one bag and the other cookies and tarts in another bag.Store is super clean , well stocked and the team is overall excellent here.

It's very well organized. The fruits and veggies section is always fresh.

Got a few more plants at their garden centre. These were in better condition. They still don't have gherkins pickles. Only one brand while the rest of the shelf is empty. Not the brand I want. What is going on with gherkin pickles?

This Metro location has some decent selection of various groceries, but most items are a bit overpriced compared to the same or similar food products which can be bought for less at other grocery stores such as No Frills or Food Basics. I will give them credit for the fact that they're open for longer than most other grocery stores though.

Good place for cheap eats..Xl pizza special for 12.99 with 3 topping2 warm combo meals for 14.99 includes protein and side of carbs and salad.cakes are goodSushi is ok.Odd they own foodbasics and the same grocery items are roughly at a 30% less...

Store was busy and only 2 cashiers and the self checkout had a about 8 people in the line up. I can handle that ....but their washroom was absolutely the DIRTIEST I have ever seen. In my opinion It had not been mopped or cleaned in WEEKS. Totally unacceptable and makes me wonder what behind-the-scenes and doors looks like at this location. Definitely not going back.
