Baba Q's Smoke & Grill
Really well done team, staff was attentive, friendly, personable. Food was all well seasoned, good quality, and extremely well portioned (i.e., serving size is plenty big !!).. only minor issue was the table already had a gratuity added, and I didn't notice, so ended up tipping on top of the 18% service charge (because of table size). Check your bill if you have a large table to avoid overpayment. Otherwise, really great meal here.

The best part of the meal was the side of deep-fried cauliflower. It went downhill after that. The ribs were very tough and stringy with not very much meat on them.The atmosphere score is indicative of both the noise level inside and the motorcycles roaring by just 15m away.Sorry, this was not the quality of food we had last year.

The absolutely best smoke house I’ve been to North of the Border, this place is light years ahead of anywhere I’ve been to in Canada! Do not waste your time while in Labrador area- YOU MUST EAT here !!! Atmosphere/ambiance, clientele, owner …. This place has it all and more!Cheers my meat loving friends!

We had a few different things from there while visiting the city. The chicken burger was a big favorite. We also had the steak and salmon. Very generous portion with 2 sides. Drinks and cocktails were also great. We had the smoked old fashioned

I ate dinner here 4 nights. I had the Beef ribs, Pork Ribs, Montréal Smoked meat sandwich and a Pizza.Food was VERY good. The meat had a smooth smokey flavor. Their fries tossed in their in house seasoning are very good.The Pizza was a unique flavor I've not had before.For BBQ at a restaurant, it isn't even close this was the best I've had.Alittle on the expensive side but worth it.Richard's Red on tap and a HUGE hard liquor selection.Owners are very friendly and engaging.

Baba Q's serves one of the best steak around Labrador! The salt, the pepper and thyme that makes them so tasty. The shrimp was also good with a zest of lime and other spices. Will also surely fall inlove with their burgers too. The serving is just right for everyone. They also serve refillable coffee.

This place has got to be one of the best places for food and service!! As a visitor to this beautiful city and someone who has travel a little bit internationally, this place is up there with food and service! I was in town for work for four nights, first night we came here, second night we came here and loved it. Each time we were really pleased. Third night we said (there were four of us), lets try somewhere else, we have to mix it up…. We went down the road a little (hundred meters), sat down waited five minutes and still nobody came to wait on us, no one ask us for drinks, nothing!… so we packed up and went back here (no one even noticed we left the last place, we were the only ones in there besides one other couple!!). As a nominated driver, I didn’t have any alcohol and was happy with a diet coke, the waiter offered to make me a non-alcoholic cocktail (after four nights we started to get to know him!). I said no they are too sweet, he said let me make you a special one. He put through the order on his ipad and the other waiter had made the cocktail and brought it to me, the waiter who took the order asked me how it was… I said too sweet, he said, sorry the other waiter was to quick!! He made me another, it was awesome an on the house! Great place great service, great food!!
