Party City

This place is good when it's well staffed, and when those staff acknowledge their customers.Very kind and friendly when that happens.That being said, if it's not Halloween or some other special holiday, the place is pretty empty.This place makes me want to throw parties just for the sake of throwing parties since they have cool things.Need reasons to celebrate though!

I always find the coolest things here and the prices are reasonable!

If you need filled balloons in a timely fashion I recommend ordering them an hour before you need them. My 2pm order wasn't ready so I had to wait. Additionally 2 of the mylar balloons leaked so they deflated during the event I was hosting.

Okay. I love coming here. But every time I need balloons it’s incredibly frustrating. Staff are slow and don’t seem to care about getting things done for you. Sure you can pre order, but every time I’ve done that, quality is poor. I was there for 40 minutes today waiting for 8 balloons to be inflated. The two managers stood around while one poor girl struggled to manage our balloons.

I went to party city Airdrie at 8.35pm June 23rd and the girls didn't agree to blow up the balloons where they still had 25 mins to closing time. Really disappointed with the service it just took not even 5 mins for her but she said I can only do 2. I even requested that you still have 15 mins and it only takes what around 2 mins. They were like no we are still to clean the store that I understand but 2 other girls were just standing there talking. This is not called customer service where I didn't ask you to cook me a full course meal in 15 mins. just couple balloons.Really really disappointed.

Literally just walked out 2 mins ago. I had $100 worth of products in my hands and we asked the worker at the till if they had another size of another $100 costume. (The sign on the shelf says ask an employee for more sizing). She looked at us completely disgusted and her response was “we might”. Then she proceeded to quietly speak with someone over her microphone. Presumably complaining about doing her job. We put all of our things down and walked out. That’s appalling customer service.Updated:The owner also asked me to call, so I called within the suggested hours, tried every option on their automated system and it even says we’re open within these hours but we’re closed now. Good luck getting anything resolved with this place. They do not care about customer service. I’d be happy to discuss this with someone if someone would be willing to talk to me.

One of the best places to go for party supplies, such great prices even on costumes for Halloween! Great staff as well

I went to this location for get filled gender party box with balloons and get some supplies for party as well. I did it for my friend and I wanted be it as surprise for me as well, so I didn’t look in envelope with gender before and trusted with this to Party City Airdrie location and their staff with this and that turned out to totally frustrating experience and ruining gender party, staff got mixed up with a gender and put wrong color of balloons.Now we have atmosphere of celebration ruined and no pictures or video to remember that my friends are waiting for baby girl. Never will be back. And recommend to go somewhere else, where staff actually care about what they do.

I had to get bunny ears for my son as a last minute thing for “dress up as your favourite character day” at school. I checked several places and finally saw that party city in Airdrie had it. When I went to the store and looked, I couldn’t find it so asked an employee. She said they already put it away in a box (which is understandable since Easter just ended). But I asked her if I can get one anyway and she went to look for the it! Thanks soo much, she could have said no, but still went out of her way to help! Our family has been through a lot with illness and injuries and my 6 year old son just got back to school from a few weeks off so this will make him soo happy.Thanks so much! I really appreciate your kindness.
