Wainfleet Motel & Restaurant
Ordered rigatoni and creme brulee. Husband ordered coconut curry, and caramel cheesecake. All very, very good. Restaurant needs some repairs to stairs out front, and to bathrooms. I know repairs are expensive and the restaurant industry is struggling right now though. Not a huge menu, but what is offered is made exceptionally well. Definitely a hidden gem. Not your average food.

I have to echo the other reviews …the chef prepares wonderful food but the atmosphere could use some improvements. The staff is always friendly but sometimes a bit slow. Regardless, I have been here several times with my family and work colleagues - large parties and small - and have never had a bad meal! Worth the trek and all I can say is “don’t judge a book by its cover!”

This place is a must try if you have never been. The chef is outstanding, you would never expect it from a quiet little place like Wainfleet but it's worth the trip. We have been coming here for years to get the steak dinners and will continue to come here anytime we want a steak and don't want to cook ourselves.

The food and staff is awesome at the restaurant 5☆ all day long!! Unfortunately I couldn't give over all experience 5☆ rating as our room looked luke the renovation crew had just left before we checked in. Screws laying on floor, all appliances unplugged including heating unit. Reno done in bathroom was a swing and a miss. Toilet wobbles when you sit or even get near it. Grout and mortar on every thing. No place to put anything in shower(forgot to tile in a niche). Beds where clean and fresh and there was hot water. The door handle on the screen door is broken so you have to shimmy your finger in between the latch to get door open. No secondary lock on door.This review is in reference to room #8. Honestly a person shouldn't have to review per room.A few small finishing touches and this place could be 5☆.

Not the prettiest spot, but don't let that put you off, the food is creative and delicious. There were 12 of us and everyone enjoyed their dinner. We started with the perfectly sized black olive bread. It was busy. The waitress did a great job, but extra help was needed, they were busy on a Monday night

Very nice small town restaurant! I order the long beach wrap and it never disappoints. Very reasonably priced, and waitresses are great.

Had dinner at the restaurant Saturday night. Place was busy, not the first time we've been there but this time my meal was disappointing. First I ordered Calamari as an appetizer and never got it. Main course I chose the prime rib special, medium rare. It came closer to well done and dry, peppercorn sauce was excellent and helped add taste to the meal. Not sure if or when I'll return

Honestly this place exceeded our expectations. My girlfriend and I didn't feel like driving back to Toronto and decided to drop by the restaurant while in the area and since it was getting late we also got a room. Excellent value for the money. The room was recently renovated, was clean and the bed was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was amazing, lots of choices. The owner of the place is a very nice guy and very accommodating. The staff at the restaurant very friendly and very welcoming. Check out this place if you're in the area. It'll be worth your time and money.

Wainfleet Motel & Restaurant
This is my absolute favourite restaurant! I have been going here for 3 or so years and the food has always been delicious and perfectly cooked. The service has always been fast, friendly and efficient. Never been let down once here. Cant wait to go again! I highly recommend.
