I reviewed numerous security installation companies online and narrowed down my search to a couple companies I would engage with to provide recommendations and quotes.It so happened that I was Guy (GESS Owner's) Manager in the mid 2000's - we had lost touch and I did not know GESS was his company. When he showed up I was surprised and happy as I knew right away what the final outcome would be. His professionalism, talent, customer service and out of the box thinking as an employee where second to none. Guy walked us through a security review for our home, listen to our wishes and provided options to improve the deliverable and reduce unneeded expenses while ensure our system is future proof for expansion. The price quoted was a lot lower than expected as well!The GESS technician (Burton) was awesome, professional and had great customer service as well.Overall the installation was spotless and Guy and Burton walked me through the entire system and have followed up since to see if there are any new questions or adjustments they could assist with.If I could rate higher than 5 stars on a review I would for GESS!

Excellent experience dealing with GESS for a home security system. From interaction with Guy (owner), to follow up and customer service with Sherry, to installation with Efi, all went smoothly. GESS personnel were unfailingly polite, knowledgeable and responsive.

They offered their guidance along the way with suggestions to improve the system or save costs if possible to ensure we would be fully compliant with the regulations. I observed GESS provide system installation and technical support for a large downtown residential and commercial strata over multiple years. Guy was the main contact and was always professional, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to provide whatever was necessary to solve a security problem at a competitive price. GESS provided confidence and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I contacted GESS asking for a quote on an alarm system for two offices, the next day a technician came into our office, did a quick analysis, and that same afternoon provided a detailed quote. One week later they came in and installed all the equipment, showed us how to use the app and made sure we fully understood the system before they left! Overall an amazing service. And the system itself is super simple and easy to use. I highly recommend them for anyone who is looking to install an alarm system.
