Besides providing the convenience of shopping, they have been consistently delivering quality food - even during major rush hours! Their portions are big and all the food items are yummy.

Just travelling in the area and tried Smokey Hollow. I don’t know how I will go home and be unable to have another Maple Chilli Bacon Chicken Burger!!! The lovely lady at the counter said it was good but it was amazing. My husband one piece fish and chips was also excellent, thanks Smokey Hollow!!!

Amazing takeout at some of the most reasonable prices I've seen in a long time. Quality and quantity - the poutine alone is the size of a meal. The burgers are delicious, and the fish tacos come with a very generous portion of fish and a deliciously tangy spicy pickle mustard sauce that works so well as a salsa". Would highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Country Harbor. Very friendly service as well. The only downside was we went on a hot summer day and there is no shade in the picnic table area

The owner of the Smokey Hollow General Store was very helpful in directing us to an overgrown cemetery. BTW - they make a great chicken sandwich!

We property manage over in the area & stopped at this truly special place. Very kind staff working, they brought the food out too us. I truly recommend, We’ll be back this week!

Was camping at Salsman Provincial Park, a friend had reached about their fish and chips, do we ordered take out for dinner. It was amazing, my wife had the fish and chips, and really enjoyed the batter on the fish. I chose the fish tacos they were the best I've ever had in Nova Scotia. They were great and the portion was huge. We will be back for sure.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing staff

Very friendly clerk. They have a little bit of everything you might need. Close to Salsman provincial campground. You have to try their donair-it was so good!! Wouldn't expect that in such a little country village. They have lots of choices on their takeout menu. We were so glad we stopped in.

Great little place to stop for takeaway. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We ordered the fish and chips to take with us on our journey and they did not disappoint. The fish are beer battered and the fries have a crispy coating as well. Looking forward to trying more from the menu but if fish and chips were the only thing offered we would still be coming back!Update 2023: arrived right at opening, waited 40 minutes for food, food was really good, not sure if it was entirely worth the time though. Milkshakes not anything special and would not recommend (the unicorn came without the nerds and with stale cotton candy). Fish and chips remain outstanding.
