We hired them for a small job, a quote was given and accepted. The invoice was higher by 37%. A bs explanation was offered. I wouldn't hire them again. I dislike dishonest people.

Hired them to move a chest of drawers, mattress, bed frame, mattress topper, and coffee table. Was quoted 280 as items would go in back of van heading to vancouver (going from osoyoos to keramous ) 2 guys show up with a van pack up and I leave for keramous. 40 minutes later van shows up . Justin tells me it's 800! I give him cash and off they go. Yes I should have not paid. It was a very stressful time. I have been in touch with owner and still waiting for a reimbursement (from May 1) would not recommend

Beware! The owner Darrell Knapp is an unethical, dishonest scammer. He quoted a reasonable price to deliver a small item, then charged my credit card over 3 times the quoted amount. When confronted, he was rude and disrespectful. He tried to gaslight me repeatedly. He told lies and gave nonsensical excuses. I looked him up, and I wasn't surprised to learn that he's been taken to small claims court over and over again going back at least 20 years. Do not hire this man or his business!

I used Family Movers to make a distance move from Penticton to 100 Mile House. They showed up on time, were fast, strong, and efficient. The owner Darrel, was easy to deal with, gave me an affordable quote, and didn't change the price at the end. The work crew disassembled and put back together furniture for the move, and placed everything where I asked for it to be.

While I hate moving, the movers that showed up were awesome! They were quick moving, respectful of my stuff and we’re personable when dealing with me. I’m also a cheapskate but I consider this company good value for the money…. Would use this company again if (god forbid) I have to move again! One area of improvement that they could use is on the pre-move communication (there was none) and I had to harass Darryl for the invoice afterwords.
