Little Lake Park
Nice park with access to the water, however, the reeds at the water's edge are about 8 feet high, so you don't see much. Really nice playground equipment. At the very end of a dead end street, so safe. Lots of houses around as well.

No parking or easy access to the lake. The trailer park (Lawrence park I think) wouldn't even let me pay to park and launch my kayak. The lake is very weedy.Consider that if you are going fishing.

I went here for the first time. The paths are not well set. But it was interesting to be in the forest. I will go again in the spring because I saw no birds :(

Rented a pontoon for $30/hr min 2 hrs over the long weekend. It was a great experience. Bad season to fish since the water is still cold! No bites. But still a great sized lake 20mins from Lake Simcoe Barrie

I read on here that you can launch a kayak from the end of the trail at little lake park, so I decided to give it a try. Turns out you CAN, but it's pretty difficult. You launch at the waters edge, then there's a dirt mound once you get through the weeds that you have to climb over. Be prepared to get a little wet if you try! (Still made for a great day on the lake!)

Beautiful park, small but nice. A little but noisy because of the 400 highway

Decent trail to the water edge, hard launch for a kayak or canoe. The city of Barrie could make it better but they won't.
