Sentinel Storage - Vancouver

Clean, secure facility with helpful staff. As pointed out by other reviewers, the office hours on their website/Google are incorrect. I have been there many times during their 'office operating' hours and noone was there. So unfortunately you cannot rely on these hours. Additionally, upon sign up I was told by office staff at the Laurel location that Sentinal would offer a refund for your unused rental days in your monthly cycle. Upon ending our rental 10 days into our new cycle, I was told by a Karen that I would not get a refund. I advised her that that was fine, but that she should advise the staff so they do not pass on misleading information to clients next time. Karen replied with an arrogant voice, hmm okay

I booked with this company for only a few a month. But only close to the end of the month they asked me to move out without a good reason, yet we had a valid contract that they literally wasn’t ashamed to breach. I was left at the last minute with no where to take my stuff. I still had 4 days to use the storage that I fully paid for. I had seen some bad reviews about them but chose to ignore and give it a try because I urgently wanted a storage. Now, I wish I worked with other storages who even provided better rates. And had better reviews. IF YOU WANT RELIABLE, DON’T WASTE ANY SINGLE TIME OF YOURS WITH THEM. I called the agent to explain this and he hang up on me. This is the WORST COMPANY TO EVER WORK WITH. Be careful

I went there based on the online hours but the office was closed. I needed to go to the office to open my storage for the first time. Thankfully, the manager there and was kind enough to still open the unit for me. The unit was nice and clean. Took off a star for misleading hours of operation online.

I had a great experience at this Sentinel Storage location. Reservation was easy, and Babjot was especially helpful during my entire rental period. Units are clean, and the facility as a whole is clean as well. The only slightly annoying thing is having to enter your passcode every time you go up the elevator but other than that, a 5/5 experience. Thanks Babjot!

Great storage place, always clean and easy access to the unit. The manager also went out of his way to assist in a lock issue. I had a unit for two years and not one complaint about the place or the staff. I likely won't even look at another company if I find myself in need of a unit again.

Excellent place for storing stuff....value and service both great! Not far from Vancouver Skytrain, accessible 24 hours, 7 days a week. The place is clean and very well managed, a small team of good people who together help the customers. Highly recommended!

I have had a locker with sentinel at the Laurel location for 6 years. No problems with them. Clean, accessible and helpful staff. One time I locked my locker but didn't bolt the door all the way, but it looked locked and closed. They called me within the day to tell me my locker was not secure and to come back and fix it. So I know they patrol the units and check that they are really locked.
