I literally cannot say enough good things about Dana.I first met her as she photographed my best friend's wedding in 2018 and I immediately knew that when I one day got engaged, she would be my photographer. In 2022, I got the ring, and Dana was one of the first people I contacted. From the very first email, Dana was excited, helpful, and sweet. I knew she would be able to make my introverted fiance comfortable in front of the camera, and make some magical moments with us.She was super flexible with scheduling and rescheduling our engagement photos after the brutal Alberta winter rolled in with -30 degrees and unpredictable conditions. We did our engagement shoot in December right before the holidays, and even though it was the holidays, she had our teasers to us within a few days and the full gallery in just over a month.Guys... I was NOT prepared for how much I would ADORE these photos. Not only did Dana make us so incredibly comfortable during the shoot - she made us laugh and feel confident the whole time - but when I look at these photos I'm like, who are these models? I've never seen photos of myself and felt SO confident and beautiful as I do in these photos. She captured exactly what we wanted: candid, sweet moments that don't feel like cheesy 80's prom photo poses. I feel like I see our whole relationship in these photos - the laughter, the support, the goofiness, and the love. Dana captured it all.I could not be more excited to have Dana shoot our wedding this upcoming October. Afterward, I might even have to manufacture new life events to have a reason to shoot with Dana again. You will 1000% not regret choosing Dana as your photographer.

I followed Dana for quite a while, and knew when the time came for our wedding that she would be our photographer. My photos are absolutely everything I wanted! She did not disappoint!!... Dana was everywhere on wedding day, capturing EVERYTHING!! She fit in seamlessly with our family and friends, and we had so many compliments on how awesome our photographer was afterwards. We were able to relive every emotion throughout our day when we went through our album and I am so grateful. She is an absolute blast to be around, and is so professional yet so much fun! She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I would 100% recommend Dana to anyone looking for a photographer!

Where do we even begin? We hired Dana as our wedding photographer and trusted her to capture all the special moments of our big day. We couldn’t be happier with our decision as Dana was beyond amazing!!First off, when we hired her, we asked her about doing an engagement shoot as we thought it would help us get a little more comfortable with being in front of the camera, as both my Husband and I are not naturals at this (or extremely comfortable with it). Dana highly suggested it and agreed that this would help us relax a bit more on our wedding day as well as allow us all to get to know each other. Let me say, I HIGHLY recommend doing an engagement shoot for all of the above reasons and you also get some really cool photos. We got married in the prairies, so we did our engagement shoot in the mountains for something drastically different but just as beautiful. Dana picked the spot and did all the work -we just had to show up. If you’re like my Husband and I and don’t love being in front of the camera…Dana is your girl! She makes everyone feel so extremely comfortable and was always making us laugh.When our wedding day finally came around, Dana was just as attentive and professional and we literally didn’t have to worry about her missing a single thing. Let me tell you, this girl works HARD. She was everywhere capturing everything, but at the same time she blended in so seamlessly. She didn’t miss a single thing. We got over 1000 photos back from our day and honestly couldn’t be happier with them. They are GORGEOUS.Not only did we get exactly what we wanted (& more) with our wedding photos, but we’ve also gained a great friend. Dana is a super fun person with a beautiful soul and hiring her was definitely one of the best decisions we made.

If we could give Dana 100 stars, we would. She is amazing. Our wedding was on July 7 and we were provided with sneak peaks only two days after. She exceeded our expectations in every way possible. She has went above and beyond for not only our wedding photos, but also our engagement photos. Her work is unique, creative and absolutely breathtaking. She is also just a real cool human to hang around with for hours on end. She made us feel comfortable, and laugh endlessly. You are absolutely missing out on the best photos of your life if you don't hire Dana Cole Photography.

Dana knocked it out of the park! We booked our pre-wedding shoot with her and her energy during and before was so infectious. The teasers she sent surpassed our expectations and we would book her again in a heartbeat! If you don’t book Dana for your shoots, what are you doing with your life?! We had the pleasure of working with The Dana this past fall for our wedding out at Emerald Lake Lodge in October 2021.Dana was great to work with and made everything super easy and comfortable for us. She was very friendly and the whole experience felt fun and enjoyable!We absolutely love our photos - still going through all of them as she managed to really capture the entire day and experience for us! There are not enough words to describe our experience with Dana. We had a long journey together to get to our wedding day as we were delayed 2 extra years for our elopement. She not only was incredibly accommodating to get us on the next years books but she was also helped comfort us after the letdown of having to reschedule multiple times and change countries completly because of Covid.Fast forward to FINALLY getting to meet her after 3 years in Sri Lanka ( instead of the original Thailand)..... She was the ultimate breath of fresh air!!! Being super fun and awesome to be around is and understatement! She made everything surrounding our experience with her was completely effortless... from scouting the perfect shoot locations, finding flowers and constructing a one of a kind bouquet, and to making us feel like models while she was taking our photos. She went well beyond just being a photographer and helped in any way to make our day as special and easy as possible. Each and every photo that came from our wedding day each have a fun memory attached to it and plays like a *BEST DAY* story book in my head every time I look through them.Needless to say, tears were shed on departure from that awesome 5 days and we can't wait to get to see her again!Photographers are a dime a dozen... but Dana makes her art and her company an EXPERIENCE ! A cherished experience I would pay to do all over again!!!

The best thing you could do is hire Dana!!We contacted her after hearing a friend’s glowing recommendation and we are so glad we did. Within 5 minutes of chatting with her over the phone, we knew that was the kind of energy we wanted. With ‘The Dana’, we didn’t just get incredibly beautiful photographs of our wedding day — we got an experience.Dana’s personality is so positive and infectious, it kept us all at ease and laughing throughout the entire day. While cracking jokes and keeping the mood light, she worked efficiently and professionally with the videography team we hired — a true pro.And when we received the first batch of photos she captured, we were in awe.They were creative, tasteful… and while we were obviously concentrating on each other, she must’ve been in a hundred places at once because the photographs covered all angles.We chose to get married in the mountains in Canmore, but on our wedding day, they were blocked out by a sudden snow storm. Even so, Dana adapted and gave us direction in order to capture some incredible ‘winter wonderland’ shots.For our reception, she listened to what we wanted and captured truly special moments that I know we will cherish for a lifetime.We are so glad we had Dana Cole with us during our wedding day and we would recommend her to anyone who asks.
