Just stopped in for a winter hike along the trail that overlooks the rapids on Vermillion River. Snowshoes or cleats are recommended depending on snow conditions. There are some steep sections of the trail, but they are short. Beautiful scenery.

I've been a seasonal camper here for 20+ years- long enough to get a waterfront lot. This is most definitely my Happy Place.

Very well maintained. Angel is such a kind lady and was extremely helpful. They have showers and bathrooms and it is very clean. A park for kids to play and other sporting activities. Most of the campers were quiet and respectful. The only down fall for us is we were looking for something more quiet and private. The lots are very close together and our lot was right in the open. No trees, no shade, no privacy. Some lots do have these options but I believe it is for the ones who camp all season.

Nice place and staff but the park itself needs some major upgrading. They were having issues with the power keeping up. It's only 15amp but wouldn't even run anything on our trailer, was such an inconvenience we ended up leaving a day early. Also the spots are super tight. Our slide out was almost touching our neighbor. Not big rig friendly !!! The playground and beach area was nice though.

We enjoyed our time at Centennial Park- we camped for 3 nights. Our kiddos loved the playground and playing with other kids. The swimming area was compact but a lovely sandy beach with a lifeguard. Our site was again compact- we were still able to put up our trailer, a dinning tent and a play tent for our kids. We booked after reading reviews and were happy with our experience! The one thing I would like to point out is that the main washrooms are not as described in other reviews- they could use some work. City owned campground, encouraging the city to spend some money on the washrooms to make them more friendly.Otherwise- great experience and loved the friendly staff!
