Scotia HVAC

We found them very expensive. $200 for a routine check on our HVAC they installed. Also, they wanted the payment up front. I don't usually pay for services until they have been completed.

Great heat pump install. They were quick, clean and everything is working great.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Scotia HVAC. From beginning to end they bent over backwards for my spouse and I, they answered any questions we had no matter what time or day. They install happened way faster than we expected and the customer service from not only the sales teams at Scotia HVAC but the technicians! Again thank you, we are really enjoying the AC with this warm weather :)

From the moment we met with the salesman to the installation completion not one thing went wrong. The salesman was professional and knowledgeable, there was good communication during the entire process, the installation was completed as scheduled (they were also professional and didn’t leave any mess) and the heat pump is absolutely great. We will never deal with any other company.

The sales person Kory was not very prepared. I am not sure if he is new but definitely not well trained. He asked me what 9+3 was. Talked to me like I was a five year old. Then asked my partner if they new of anyone who was in the business to “take care” of people who did him wrong.This was just for a quote!UghWhere in the world did Scotia HVAC find this guy?We may pay a little more but I don’t want to get involved with a company who hires someone like this.

Scotia HVAC , the 2 guys you sent were Very professional, easy to talk to , very efficient and great service! I would definitely recommend them. Wesley took the time to go over the system remote to make sure I knew how to work it and clean it! Thank you so much!

Experienced a problem with our HVAC system that was installed by Scotia HVAC last fall. Contacted Robin who arranged for Jesse from service to identify and solve the problem. Our Sales Rep, John was additionally helpful during this process. We would like to thank Management for waiving all associated fees to fix the problem over a two week period. Very pleased the way this was handled by Scotia HVAC.

Edit: I don't lie. The daiken comment was an error. I did not swear or threaten anyone, you have no recording of anything and no one witnessed a thing. Those accusations and statements are lies. I have done nothing illegal so you have no case. My warrantee is fine. I will apologize to Randy but not because you threatened me but because I want to. Your exaggerations will remain here for posterity.Original: I picked up my split heat pump in August 2020, they talked me out of the popular daiken brand in lieu of a Ouellet. I had it installed and its been great until today. I had called to get someone to look at it but they tried to charge me $200 just for a chance to have someone come out. I said no and asked if they had an office where I could talk to someone face to face. The manager then called me back and denied me service for uttering threats (which I did not, and this should be an example of how you would be treated if you have any issues with them) and now I have a ticket open with the BBB because they pretty much voided my warrantee.

We had a ducted heat pump installed in August 2022. Worked fine until 6 weeks ago. Took a week and $300 to get them to come out and tell us that it was the motor on a 6 month old machine! They made it sound like the part was only a couple days away. Then we heard nothing. I have continually called and they have said they are waiting on the part. This company was great when I signed the contract and installed the machine, but the communication has been very frustrating now that it is broken. And what do you do besides call and wait once it's installed. The $300 diagnostic fee should go against the warranty once they see what's wrong but it doesn't. And once they fix it and it is an issue will it still be covered.Update: found another service provider who informed me that I already have a warranty on my unit through Prime which is meant to cover labour for 10 years!
