Came here and only had a few items but was very impressed with the quality of food, flavors, and service.The food is on the pricier side while the portions are small (hence why I only gave it 4 stars), so be forewarned, but it is a good place to go to if you feel like splurging. They offer a pricey set menu but I would definitely try it one day.The beef tartare was really fresh and tasted good with the egg yolk.The octopus had really good flavors, although it is tiny for the high price point. I believe it was $30 something for one octopus leg.The last dish we had was the scallop tiradito. Again, very tasty but also $26 for a small amount!The restaurant is very small but nicely decorated. Make sure you make reservations because walk in looks nonexistent.Our server was super nice and very educated with the menu.

5 stars for SUYO. Amazing food options, we enjoyed a bit of a tasting menu, a variety of a few different things. Must trys: Halibut Ceviche and the Duck.The cocktail options are quite amazing, very innovative, and creative. Each one has a bit of a story or journey to enjoy. Very professional and friendly front house staff. It is a very popular spot but will be coming back as soon as they can fit us back in!

Unique colorful cuisine. Everything is carefully curated from cocktails libations to your main course. Really enjoyed the scallop ceviche along with the halibut... Living on Main Street there are lots of first class options available and this one definitely fits into the repertoire.

Love the cerviche and the cauliflower steak. I had the Ritual cocktail with cow's blood and pig's heart. Definitely ingredients for the adventurous eater. But it was a sweet berry taste. Thicker texture like a smoothie. I loved it.The waitress was friendly and the staff go out of their way to explain all the dishes.Next time I'm here I'll sit at the bar which is beautiful.

Absolutely outstanding! This Peruvian gem in Vancouver has completely won me over. The Ceviche Clásico was a taste revelation – the perfect blend of freshness, tanginess and spice. Equally impressive was the Arroz con Pato – tender, rich, and full of flavor. A visit to this place is like a delightful journey through Peruvian culinary wonders. Unbeatable authenticity, great ambience, top-notch service - hands down the best restaurant in Vancouver. Can't wait for my next visit!

Food was amazing. Drinks were interesting and different. A lovely casual and cozy restaurant with a cool vibe.Everything was cooked to perfection and using Peruvian ingredients paired with a story to share. A wonderful experience and definitely worth a visit

Wow! Was so excited to try this new to Vancouver restaurant. I was blown away with the thoughtfulness and creativity in each dish. Octopus, tartar, and the halibut ceviche were the highlight for sure however, everything was absolutely delicious. The cocktails are so imaginative and there’s a story behind each dish and cocktail. It was a wonderful evening overall! We sat at the bar and were served by Max. He was charming and very enthusiastic about all of the cocktails and food. Would recommend anyone to try this fantastic restaurant and I can’t wait to go back.

The food was good and we loved the features/specials.It’s not easy to get a reservation online. I would recommend walking in at 5pm (when they open) to try your luck. We were able to secure a table for 3, but understood we had to be out by 7:30 for the next table. However, the service felt incredibly rushed during our meal, despite the fact that we had 2.5 hrs. I’m not sure how I felt about being ‘herded’, given the price point and atmosphere.

We wanted to try the ceviches and ordered all of them. The chef special for the day was the winner.Portion sizes are small so it gets pricey on the pocket if you are looking at a full meal, but it delivers in the flavors.The flavors were on-par to the ceviches we had in Peru. Good selection of cocktails too.

Very nice neighborhood restaurant doing interesting dishes. The foods are tasty but it's salty in general. Ingredients are common from the market but the cooking is unique and maybe that's why the prices are above average.
