Employment + Education Centre

Everyone here is absolutely lovely, I felt supported and free to be myself. I cannot stress enough how much these people deserve a bouquet of flowers everyday for the type of work they do.

Response Edit:Well its been at least 3 unsuccessful times now since 2016, just delays the inevitable for a bit. So i doubt it, I'll pass. I'll just figure it out myself or die. Thanks so much. I see all that government tax payer money is really working.

Youth job connection is fun. And Charlea is great!

Very kind, friendly, and caring staff. The YGC program was helpful with learning skills required for obtaining jobs, resume building, and getting some people skills. The staff that I’ve had interactions with were incredibly supportive, understanding, and helpful whenever needed. 11/10 would recommend

I have wasted 11 years of my time with the EEC.Heck when I was part of the tiny house program(First house Infact) and literally everytime before that the EEC actively tried convincing me to not only abandon pursuing an apprenticeship (Electrical in this case) but have throughout the last 11 years made me feel as though they think I am just a grunt who apparently has no actual aspirations for anything.I am genuinely convinced they kept trying to place me in ANY job so they could just use me as a another statistic to get more funding.Also each time before and after each years attempt I personally witness blatant favoritism for literally anyone else pursuing said apprenticeship. Sorry I am realistic and have a problem with the way the one employer you sent me too during my last three weeks in the WATC program as that employers crew threatened me on the job site as well as belittling me I often contemplate as to if I should have contacted the labor board at the time of employment unfortunately time has passed.

Alex at the EEC has always been very helpful and there when needed it even when not needed, definitely would recommend!The YGC program is a great way to get new connections and learn about the thing you might or might not pursue, plus who doesn’t like getting paid to sit in class?

The Employment Education Center is a fantastic resource for job seekers looking to improve their skills and advance their careers. From resume writing workshops to interview preparation, the center has a wealth of resources that are both practical and effective. The instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, and they truly care about the success of each and every one of their students. I highly recommend the Employment Education Center to anyone looking for guidance on their career path.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the EE Center (EEC) after being laid off from work. Feeling uncertain about things, I decided to enroll in the Business Management Program at Trillium College.My first appointment was with Megan at EE Center (EEC), who provided me with valuable information and put me in contact with Matthijs van der Veen to help me further.Matthijs went above and beyond to assist me in securing funding for the course. He guided me through the application process, also provided insights and tips to increase my chances of success. The staff at the EEC are incredible. They genuinely care about the well-being and success of others.Additionally, I thank Lis Meyer, for setting me up with the EE Center. I am grateful for the support and help I received.

So I came to the EEC after having to quit my job for medical reasons. I wasnt sure what I was expecting but I certainly didn't know that my one appointment was going to change my life completely. After meeting with Lesley Patry-Kerford, she went over my many options with me and assisted me with every part of the process of applying for school.Two weeks later, I was on my way to beginning my new future!The staff there are incredible, they have tons of resources available to ANYONE, and are incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend going to the EEC!
