ML Dance Ottawa

Been taking lessons with Marilisa for several years. Started with group lessons and now private ones. When you think you have learned all the moves she has more to teach. It is a great atmosphere with her studio and music. I see doing lessons for many years to come.

I started dance classes with ML Dance in 2019, and the classes have always been fun, beneficial, informative and have taught me how to dance. The instructor Marilisa is fantastic, she very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable, she helps with the most basic of steps in a kind and helpful way, and has helped improve my form and technique as I have moved away from being a beginner. I couldn’t say enough good things about learning dance from ML Dance, it’s been great exercise, and has been a great get away from the busyness of daily life, I truly have enjoyed every session, and now when I go to weddings or any place where dancing is involved I feel confident that I can dance and have had a great time.

My husband and I took first-dance lessons from Maralisa and had an absolutely amazing time! I highly recommend her. She's extremely skilful, personable, and a great teacher! She'd even take spare lesson time to introduce us to different kinds of couple's dances, to which we still practice in the kitchen today. Dance lessons with Marilisa were fun and accessible. My partner and I are not very coordinated and didn’t have any dance experience. We learned a simple but impactful dance with great choreography. The dance Marilisa created impressed our guests. Her lessons made for super fun dates leading in to our wedding! We will continue with lessons in the future. We had so much fun.
