Canyon Falls Park

Beautiful frozen water falls and stunning views of the city and lake. Cleats and poles are a must for winter hikes. Loved the snow covered trails.

Gorgeous! Short hike, not as tough as they make it sound. A little mucky but if you can go early spring you can still see the ice around the falls!

The trail seems nice, but the lower and upper trails are closed.

It’s closed off but you can still go in. It’s not bad at all and a pretty view. If you climb up past the first waterfall, there is a second one about 15 minutes away. It is harder though. Wear long pants, since it is closed off the grass hasn’t been clipped and there is a couple spikey bushes. Worth it.

We love this place and highly recommend it for a quick hiking access. Beautiful and accessible. How can you give nature a 1 star??? Ridiculous!

Nice little spot. One of the only local waterfalls that you can go right in to the base of the waterfall. Cover your head though it's a lot of water

Lower Crawford Falls trail closed due to trail instability, fine that's safe. Keep going to Upper Canyon Falls, if you ignore the No Trespassing" signs these falls are worth seeing. Key Note: Watch out for monster excavators just above the falls. New ultra large subdivision & new roads just being roughed in. June 18/22"

Went for another walk with the dog, it's a very scenic area good for hiking and biking. But be careful there is a few ticks in the area this time of year, so watch out!

Beautiful park with trails.There is a gate with a sign stating closed because of trail instability but it was the exact same last year so carefully make your way down from fenced area and the trail will lead you to 2 Beautiful waterfalls, the first is swimable and easy to access while the other one which is much larger involves scrambling up beside the first falls,there's a rope to help there then you have an easy hike to the second set of falls.Very quiet in here most times I've been.I did not see a bathroom anywhere in area where you look out and descend to lower canyon section but there's lots of bushes around if you really need to.Bring water,food and a towel and you will be fine.A pair of boots or shoes with grip will definitely help on the trails,it's not a hard trail but there are some steep areas you won't want to fall off of.Enjoy!
