Hi-Tech Communication

Terrible service. Went for just a cracked screen but my home button got replaced and when it was malfunctioning the guy lied and said it was the new apple update. He said his phone was dead when I asked to see if his phone did the same thing. When I said I’ll wait for him to charge it he instead called to whoever supplied the home button and asked for another one. He tried to charge me for the new one. Also not true to the hours posted on the storefront/website. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Straight crooks

I've been here a few times to have phones and Pad screens replaced. Very friendly and good prices.I had a iMac that I dropped coffee on. I was told by apple that it could not be fixed. Thankfully I brought it here, (just before I through it out) and they fixed it!

I will probably have to return here because they do have an extensive collection of phone , tablets covers and protection. they also do phone and repairs etc.

My friend had her iPhone 11 fixed here and the same day she got it back it kept powering off and the screen kept randomly tapping eventually the iPhone locked because of it and when we went back and told them what had happend they completely dismissed any of the problems that we were talking about and told us we needed to give them 80 dollars to fix the back bottom right corner that had nothing to do with it then refused to take any responsibility for not fixing the phone properly the first time then they started acting like we were lying and never came in we told them that we could unlock the iphone to and they still refused to even lower the price.

Terrible service. Brought my phone in for repair a month ago. I was promised several times they'd call with an update but never once did they provide an update without me having to call or physically go to location. Still not fixed, I went to pick up my phone and take it elsewhere for repair - he told me it was not at the shop. 1 week later, still no updates, I went to pick it up again. Nobody was at the store. 1 month later, I still don't have my phone and it's never been fixed. I can't speak on behalf of everyone but in my experience, this was a huge waste of my time.

Knowledgeable in their work, and the price was exceptional too. I already had my iPad mini screen replaced by once before by another company and it cracked the second day after receiving it back, so now I had to replace it again and found Hi-Tech Communications. I called the store to asked the guy if he can do it while I wait for it to be fixed, he said “it’s not a good idea because the glue needs to dry and set, so it’s better to leave it for a couple of days or the screen can pop off and/or crack”! So then I remembered what happened to the iPad from the other repair shop a couple of years back and realized he’s telling the truth :-)! So I went straight there to get my iPad fixed because he seemed to be honest. I’ll pick it up tomorrow, but for now I give 5 stars for honesty and friendly service!

First off I put my phone in at the Oshawa location said it would be fixed by Aug 1 I go Aug 1 and they say my phone isn't there its at the Whitby store and that it's not fixed... I waited 14 days for them to fix the lcd in my screen. Finally when I get my phone, the back is popping off, glue was all over my phone and they didn't bother to clean the glue off. Go to put my Sim card in says theres no Sim card (nothing was wrong with my Sim card cause I was using it in a loaner phone that my friend lent me) when I brought the phone in the only thing that was wrong with it was the lcd. so I told him when they were replacing the lcd screen they must have done something to the Sim on accident where it be pushing too hard on the screen or on the back of the phone when they were putting it back together, the young guy who was working started being very rude and kept repeating himself saying they didn't touch the Sim card and I said I know

I have been running around all day trying to get my phone fixed and charging again. The amazing worker was able to fix my phone in less then 5 minutes. The service was fast and professional and the worker did not even want payment for the job. I recommend Hi-tech communications to anyone that has any issues with there phone.

Absolutely amazing guys! The best prices, top notch customer service and the fastest repairs in southern ontario! Totally worth the drive! One employee actually stayed until 1pm one night to fix my phone and delivered it to me at home at 10:30pm so I could make my early morning flight! !
