Dundas St. @ Hwy. 412 Park & Ride

The biggest commuter secret in Whitby! want to give this park and ride more stars because it’s quiet, and nobody knows this huge parkinglot exists or the 92A bus route, but because it’s SO FAR from Dundas Street and on a dead end road, I can’t. Google maps shows the park and ride at Dundas but it is in fact almost a kilometre north up Halls Road. That alone is deceiving. Literally the worst spot for a 200 space parkinglot! If you miss your bus you have to walk 10 minutes to catch the 92 and then wait at halls road which when I checked last, has no bus shelter. It’s miserable in the summer and winter, and the buses leave before their scheduled departure often leaving me stranded!!! The idea is a great concept but this shouldn’t be on a dead end road that nobody knows about. Though it doesn’t look like Halls is going to connect to Rossland in this lifetime. It’s so much more underused than it should be. Oh and the parkinglot itself doesn’t drain properly so there are massive puddles all the time. This thing is brand new! How does that happen!!!!
