My spouse and I adopted a young new rescue puppy, that had a lot of issues with staying home by herself, so we immediately had to start bringing her to our office every day.We started her in socialization classes, and after seeing the success with other dogs, decided to enroll Kaya in their dog training. To start, Kaya had a lot of problems with a number of situations - staying by herself in our house, interacting with other dogs, listening and responding when her name was called, and staying home alone. Through the training, and socialization classes, Erin was able to help us to teach Kaya to deal with all of these now.We are on our second level of training, and we are able to leave Kaya for a couple of hours unsupervised; calling her name and interrupting any behavior that is not appropriate and playing with other dogs we meet on the street/backing off when they give a signal that there do not want to play. Very happy with the extra training and direction that Erin provided to help Kaya adapt to our home and work environment at a much quicker and easier pace then we would have on our own.

I started taking my rescue dog to the socialization classes. Erin knows her stuff and is very helpful and attentive to all the different puppy and dogs needs. I definitely recommend checking out her classes whether you have a new puppy or an adult dog.

In her classes, Erin is deeply committed to training people to be responsible dog owners. She can interpret the dogs' body language and understand their behaviors and how to correct them when necessary but always with gentleness and patience. She has guided our dog from a shy puppy to a confident well behaved adult we can take anywhere. Saturday morning social play time is a lot of fun for everyone. We never miss it.

Puppy Beginner Class- Erin is Friendly. Patient. Explains and repeats everything.Also attend the socialization group, puppy loves it, gets to socialize with different size, ages etc of dogs

Erin has helped our puppy grow from a distracted little ball of energy to a well behaved dog. We have taken the puppy and level 2 classes and have noticed a big difference in our dogs behaviour and manners. We have recieved lots of instruction and reassurance during the process, which was very helpfull for a first time puppy owner.

We've had a great experience with D'Arcy's dog training! We did the puppy class and have been doing drop in for our young active shepherd! She's great with groups and one on one, highly recommended and has a great deal of experience!

Erin has been the best dog trainer and I recommend her to anyone with a puppy or dog. The things we learned in class and during drop-in playtimes has made our dog very well behaved and brought us closer to him as part of our family! Our dog Pickles can't wait to get inside when we arrive and he leaves with a perma-smile on his face. Erin's love of animals and her knowledge is unmatched and extremely helpful!!! My wife and I have had the privilege of having Erin train all three of our dogs, Jake (Golden Retriever age 9), Zack (Golden Retriever age 7) and Starke (German Shepherd age 3). All three of our dogs started their training from just a few months of age in puppy class, through 3 levels of training to Agility classes. During our time with Erin, she has showed nothing but knowledgeable, calm and clear instruction and advice. Several times during training in all levels, she introduced her own German Shepherd Shamrock"

Wasn't a great first impression at Darcy's dog training. They were unhelpful on the phone when I called to ask about available training courses. We arrived for the puppy socialization class and there was only one other dog there who was rather aggressive with other dogs. The trainer that was there did not offer any suggestions or try to interact with me (or even introduce herself to me) and watched mostly silently from the corner, occasionally on her phone. After approximately 20 uncomfortable minutes I left early, ending my visit with a short conversation with the trainer where she was similarly unhelpful and still did not leave her seat in the corner.
