A walk before dinner is a good idea. Make sure you have water & stop to look at the ducks & turtles basking in the sun.

What a beautiful little habitat for an assortment of ducks!! Bring some duck mix to feed them as they will be greeting you instantly after you park!! Every birder must visit here!!!

There are benches you can sit on to look at the pond and all the ducks which are everywhere. Occasionally there's a barred owl, a hawk or an eagle in the area as well.

Wow. Was doing a map search and happened upon good old Kings Pond. Grew up as a kid just down the road. Skating on it in winter, trying to get golf balls out of it to sell back to the golfers, tadpolls and frogs.

Ducks are way prettier here than at beacon hill. You hardly ever see a wood duck downtown but here they are everywhere along with a half dozen other varieties. Fun to learn all their names and patterns. Sucks that they basically come to you at the parking lot tho...
