MandoKids Chinese Learning Centre

I love Mando kids and Ms. Sakura Zhao, my daughter is 2 years old and she speaks English with her dad (her main caretaker); although I speak to her in Cantonese at home, her first words and ways of communicating now is in English. My daughter was first skeptical of the classes the first 2 times crying before going in and also not wanting to stay, but now, not only does she love being there, she can also sing in mandarin, able to repeat/understand/say things in mandarin. It is absolutely incredible. Ms. Zhao and team puts in a lot of work to plan their weekly classes, and as a mother, I can tell. As a parent, I really appreciate teachers who is creative, and patient with kids...as young children are not easy to teach. Thank you!

My 6 yrs old tried Mando Kids through a few workshops and loved the classes, and asked me to put him in group and eventually private one-on-one class for the last 12 months. He has had classes with most of the Mando Kids teachers - Ms. Sakura, Ms. Cleo, Ms. Emma - and he enjoyed learning from them very well. Since taking classes with Mando Kids, he has a noticeable improvement where he is now very comfortable speaking some mandarin (e.g. ordering food, chatting with friends). Considering that he had no mandarin learning experience before working with Mando Kids, we have been very impressed with the quality of the teaching. Most important - my son loves attending his class with Ms. Cleo. It's having fun that really sparks learning interests!

My son has so much fun learning that he asks me where his chinese teacher is when he doesnt have class!! Wonderful teachers that are experienced with young children . I would highly recommend this school for children . Thank you for teaching my son mandarin !! We are so grateful to have found such an awesome teacher !

There are probably a bunch of Chinese language classes in Vancouver - none even comes close to the kind of experience we've had here. Sakura (our teacher) just has so much energy. It's really about nurturing a desire to learn rather than trying to cram information. Highly recommend especially for younger kids.

This is what we need around our neighborhood, my daughter's mandarin skill improving fast, and can easily communicate with her grand parents after one term classes.
