Outstanding customer service. Do not hesitate to do business with them! The owner and staff are very kind and went out of their way to help us. After we dropped off the car at the end of our rental, they offered to send us to a sky train station. The car was very clean as well. I will definitely do business with them next time we are back. How ignorant was I to overlook all the 1 star reviews? They are there for a reason. The owner would look super nice and easy to talk with until you give him a five star rating. And then, he would report you for $150 fine on Turo and act like it’s all your fault while his real intention is to make money this way. Be AWARE of his relatively cheaper rental cost, because he has his ways. I just feel like being stabbed in the back after being greeted with his FAKE SMILES.To answer your reply:“Significant amount of pet hair.” The claim itself is ill-founded because we did not transport any pets during our rental. There could have been a small amount of cat hair brought along by the moving boxes, but we have properly cleaned the trunk with lint roller before returning the car, how could there be “significant amount of hair”?The validity of supporting photos provided by the host is questionable. Only one of the before photos showed the interior of the trunk with no close up or details of the carpeted area at all, whereas the after pictures are zoomed in and taken at a much higher contrast and brightness. When we returned the car there was no hairs visible to human eyes. The angle and lighting at which the host took the before and after pictures are misleading.The host was deliberately dismissive of a return inspection. When we dropped off the car we were trying to place the backseats into their original position, and the host interrupted us and said don’t worry about it we are all good to go. He did not check the condition of the car in our presence and told us everything is good and to just leave. Had him checked the car and asked us about the damages in person, we could have brought up our concerns and discussed who is truly responsible for them.The host was dishonest in his claim. He initially claimed that we have caused large areas of scratches and left pet hairs in the car, when we spoke on the phone and said that we did not have pets in there, he quickly dropped the claim about the scratches, thus, the host was either negligent in conducting a proper before check, or was purposely defaming us for existing damages. During our 2 min 16 sec phone call, he admitted that he included in that picture for no reason. We believe he did so to misguide the Turo review team and/or to get more money if we happened to have a pet in the car.

Zhen was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. The mercedes c300 was perfect for my week in Vancouver. Check in period and check out period took less than a minute. Car was very clean and drives like its still brand new. Will definitely come back again in the future, thank you for making my trip enjoyable. See you next time!

Had a great experience selling my SUV with Carboy Motors. The team was very responsive and transparent. Had no problems whatsoever and would highly recommend Carboy Motors services to anyone looking to quickly get rid of their car at a great price. Shoutout to Tims and Amber for being so helpful.

Because of covid halting international travel all the major car rental companies sold their cars. They then had to buy them back at higher prices once the world opened up and therefore their current rental rates are absolutely ridiculous. Thankfully we have guys like Tim from Carboy Motors who was amazing to deal with. I needed a car for 35 days and had to arrange it all from Australia. Tim was amazing to deal with and instead of paying $5,500 for a small SUV through someone like Hertz or Budget, Tim hooked me up with a 20 year old big luxury Lexus for 20% of that cost!!! I have a family of 5 so with all the luggage he made sure we had a car fit for purpose. It never missed a beat and the kids loved our big 'limo'. He helped me arrange the insurance through the broker Jenny who was also amazing and turned up to arrange it all. Tim is originally from China but has been in Canada for over a decade and speaks perfect English and both he and his wife were fantastic to deal with, so you will get clear and concise communication. Not only are you saving money but I would much rather support this family business than some global corporation who wants to charge 5 times the amount. I encourage you to deal directly with Tim and you will not be disappointed. This is especially important if you're traveling a long way with a lot of young kids! I rarely can be bothered writing reviews for anything but this one was worth it not just for Tim but also for you travelers out there looking to make your trip to Canada easier and less expensive!

I rented this beautiful Mustang from Carboy Motors for 4 days and to be honest it was the best rental experience ever, upon receiving the car it was exceptional clean just like new out of the lot, all the documents and insurance had no problems and the owner gave me the keys and showed me around how to put the top down. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, communication was fast and easy, and the best price you can get for a hot car like this. Once again I want to say that the experience with carboy motor car rental is the best and I would recommend anyone to rent their cars (they have a great selection of cars from economic cars to the luxury cars even Tesla) next time I am going to Vancouver they will for sure have my business. Five stars!
