I used to shop here a ton but since covid they have closed their change rooms and you can't try anything on anymore so I don't even bother going in anymore.

The Marpole store has been my favorite thrift store for years. I had moved out of the area but yesterday took the bus back for a visit. I had planned on doing a big Christmas shop but gave up because there were no carts or baskets! The store was not full and yet every staff member I asked about finding me a basket just shrugged and laughed. I bought only $4 worth of little things. I had no choice but to leave and do my shopping elsewhere.

First time checking out this Salvation Army location. It’s right next door to the VPL Marpole branch.Very well organized and clean. Has a mix of things. Some decent deals and obviously, lots of overpriced items. Know what stuff is worth if that’s an issue.FYI: No tax charged on their prices, 15% off if you have a SPC card and a 10% seniors discount for 60+. Surprised they offer a 15 day exchange on clothing items.

very friendly staffs. I met an employee (Filipina) that i had not met her before. she was so helpful in every way i give her 100% as doing her job.. the place is very clean. the Chinese employee i give her 80% as doing her job. the other employees were great. i give them 80% to 90% .overall, great selections, friendly service, clean store. i can't ask for more... thanks to all of you. I spent $149.00

Very nice staff and very nice initiative. One can find mostly nice clothing for men, women selection was a bit more on the limited side, but a lot of nice finds. Shoes selection was nice, too.
