Dollarama

Though I appreciate the affordability and convenience... I have found the prices slowly creeping upward while the quality of the merchandise remains relatively the same. Most of what I purchase has a shelf life and falls apart. I am not looking to contribute anymore towards our landfills..Sometimes it's more affordable to simply purchase quality long lasting products, elsewhere. However, for basic toiletries, pantry items , household cleaners and arts and crafts- it's an ideal place to stop and shop. For anything beyond that, don't expect the merchandise to last. I hope they continue to reflect that in prices which are fair and accommodating to those who perhaps cannot afford to shop elsewhere. It is, afterall, suppose to be a DOLLAR Store... :)

This place was great but then me and my friends went there 1 day and this lady came up and said that she will come after us if we keep bullying people even though we didnt. She also asked uw where we live and said that she has been watching us. Whenever I go in there she follows me around and talks about me and my friend. Mind u I am 12 and so is my friend and this lady is like 50 years old. She also said she will call the cops on us because we were in the store to long. Which was like 10 mins or less.

I have always loved this location until I met one of the blonde staff members last week, I couldn't catch her name but 1/10 for customer service. She was working the cash area not only rude to myself but also an elderly women who was simply asking for the paint section. Her tone is disgusting towards customers & should not be working in retail/customer service if she can not speak to other human being with common respect.

I have to admit that Dollarama has really stepped up their game in the past couple of years. You can find a whole host of items here, brand names, that, in many cases, one can purchase at a significantly lower price than at a big box grocery or pharmacy. Being a smart consumer, knowing your pricing is helpful, saving your hard earned money, helps you stretch it even further. Dollarama helps in in so many ways. Keep up the good work guys!

I go for convenience. There is one young girl who works there that is super kind all of the time. Otherwise I don't have anything nice to say so won't say anything else.

If there was a 0 zero rating this is what I would be giving this dollar store not only is the owner rude to customers she is also rude to her staff I had an issue with a can of hairspray I purchased and brought it to the owners attention she asked if I had my receipt I replied no that I didn't think I would need it with what I had purchased she rudely no receipt no refund or exchange the can of hairspray was defected why couldn't she just take it and exchange it for another we have a business in the mall and I am at that dollar store quite a bit for many items for there and home but after this incident I will shop elsewhere terrible customer service don't obviously care about their loyal customers or there reputation

Great place to pick up nic naks. But i also remember a time when their name was correctly and honestly true. Lately though... thinking there needs to be a name change. Perhaps Dollarsrama? Maybe swap the S out for the dollar sign? Dolla$ramaLook at that! I just saved you thousands if not millions in marketing costs right there.

I stopped by on my way back to Toronto and loved this Dollarama. Is big, has good inventory and the most important thing is that customer service was AWESOME! It is in a Plaza with plenty of parking.
