Tennis Time

Tennis Time has been a wonderful experience for our daughter. She has learned the foundations of tennis through a logical and progressive program. She has gained the skills and the confidence she needs to play which is evident from her performance on the court.

I have had an incredible experience learning tennis this summer through David’s adult program at Tennis Time. My tennis exposure was limited when I first started, but over the course of the summer, I participated in both group and private sessions. These sessions were challenging but David made sure he worked at my level to keep me motivated. The group sessions were very productive and his overall flexibility to accommodate everyone at the same time was impressive. I had more than enough attention to develop my skills on the court and met some really great people with whom I can continue playing with to keep the skills I have learned. The private sessions helped me focus in on a few areas that were more challenging for me which really helped improve my game. The program David offers really has had a positive impact on my personal growth and I would recommend it to anyone who has always said they wanted to learn tennis. I am very proud to say that I am confident enough in my skills to play an actual tennis match and hold my own. It’s a great game to learn as an adult. Thanks David...!

I started taking lessons with David in the summer of 2017 and was so looking forward to continue playing with the group this summer. He is a great instructor and pays attention to everyone in the class. There are only 4-5 people in the class, so you get to play a lot. He mixes different drills (singles and doubles) making the class engaging and fun. If you miss a session (which happens a lot in the summer time) he always tries to accommodate you by offering a make up session.

We've had our eleven year old daughter enrolled throughout the summer and now throughout the year with Tennis Time. She bounds out of each class delighted with the fun she has had. We are very grateful she has an opportunity to play under Mr. Greer's coaching.

I started with Tennis Time in July 2016 and this is my third summer with Dave. Tennis has always been an interest of mine and I was lucky to find lessons in Halifax. Each lesson is a group session and Dave does an excellent job of working with each individual and the group as a whole. There's also no need to bring anything, Dave provides the equipment needed to learn and play (tennis balls, racquets). Dave’s experience and coaching is fantastic and I walk away from each session with something new and feeling more confident in my skills. Dave does a great job in providing feedback in areas of strength and improvements. He also makes it an effort to point out your strengths and what's working while providing feedback and advice in areas that need to be worked on. As well, Dave is great at making sure you are placed with the right group. I highly recommend Tennis Time, as I believe that in the three summers I have participated, I have improved well and become more confident in my game. This is because of Dave’s vast experience in the game and his excellent coaching skills. This is one group not to miss out on!

Being a teacher myself I really appreciate David's style. The lessons are insightful, enjoyable and you can really feel the progress from one lesson to the next! Highly recommended.

Since joining Tennis Time in 2017, my overall tennis game has improved tremendously!! David is a great instructor. He pays particular attention to everyone's level to ensure they get the most out of each lesson. I have been lucky to participate in a number of different classes and always enjoy his teaching style and I feel I am getting the best value every time.
