I totally agree with the post from JL. It says alot when the executive staff are getting fired and suspended. Let's hope they don't stop and they clean house. then they can fix the coaches as well

This league is so unorganized. My childs second year with league. May switch next year and go to varsity. Not enough goalies and 2 tier atom and minor atom together.Booked practice with novice at same time as our games and only realized this after wards and need to shift around schedules again.Need to clean house within league and start at the top and work down.

Do not follow Hockey Canada guidelines. Lied to all parents and children of the Novice age group. Kids were to move up to full ice in January. Decided to tell parents the weekend of that they (Brampton hockey) we continue to stay at 1/2 ice. Worst hockey organization! Go to Mississauga or Caledon!

I love the league, been playing here since I was 5. The only reason I have put 3 stars is because of the refs.I enjoy playing in the league not only because it's fun but I've made many friends over the years. It's only the refs, they do not know how to officiate a game. This past year not only in my games have I seen this horrible officiating take place, i've seen it in many other games. I just hope this gets looked into. I've heard many people say they left the league because of the refs, and I'm hearing way more people say this is their last year because of how shit the refs are. I am 14 years old and currently play in the bantam division on the retro kings. Also it's not all the refs, but all I'm asking is for you guys to look into this. I'm looking forward to playing next year as long as you guys look into this. Thank you.

Very disappointed with Brampton Hockey Association and their organizations. Poor hockey coaches selections for the leagues and poor developments for the children to play hockey. All about who knows who in the organizations and parents inputs are all disregarded for improvements. No wonder why people leave Brampton Hockey and play elsewhere. They should completely wipe all clean slate in the organizations and start having people who ACTUALLY knows how to play HOCKEY!

Worst Hockey Organization Ever !!! Seeing Coaches Screaming At Parents while being ejected from the game and then seeing them back behind the the bench with 9-10 year olds is a Disgrace !!! Police Checks never completed by coaching staff and coaching certification not completed is the norm in Brampton Zero Stars if I could

Not at all pleased with this organization. Many complaints about a rep coach treating kids poorly go unnoticed, and in fact, the parents who are also on the coaching staff, get penalized for pointing it out. The coach has no clue what he is doing on the ice and the scores show. Shows up late or in the nick of time for practices and games. Word of advice - listen to the parents and take action. We pay big money to play - the coach doesnt and is clearly in it for the wrong reasons.

My child has played hockey there for a few years, they never have. couch and couching staff criminal records checked before the beginning of the season this terrible we have the same problems every year all staff and couch’s including trainers should be certified and have there criminal record checks done before the teams are made, also we should have parent couched cause most parent couched give there kids extra playing time over all kids when we all pay the same amount

Brampton hockey has gone to a new low . 2008/2009 Rec has 5 teams 2 goalies . Having kids trying to block shots for 1/2 a game is just dangerous and ridiculous. Kids paying big money to play basically shinny hockey . Leadership needs to be removed. I’m proud to say I personally helped many players escape Brampton and go to MHL / GTHL . I wish the best for these players but a piece of advice leave Brampton hockey if you want your kids to develop and have fun .VP Rep VP Risk Management are a disgrace to all families and players at BHI . Time to get rid of the goons running BHI and have a leadership that knows what’s best for ALL players ALL families. AAA shouldn’t exist at BHI all the teams suffer for the sake of $$$ .Fielding teams at levels full well knowing they’ll lose every game and then dropping down levels to then still lose every game this clearly shows the leadership is CLUELESS to the skill level of there teams and more importantly the clear lack of development from the bottom up .85% of salaries paid during the 2020-21 season 315Gs how much hockey was played that season? How many games ? Rec was cancelled and Rep continues for the safety of the kids ?Serious changes needed maybe 2-3 more years and BHI will fold nice work board members and VPs keep giving yourself awards and huge pay cheques .
