Every person at Yonge Street Animal Hospital cares about pets and their people. They are friendly and responsive. I have never encountered a staff member who is having an “off” day. Everyone I’ve seen them interact with is treated with the same friendliness and respect, including each other. The vets and vet techs take the time to explain what they are doing and why and what the options for care are. They don’t recommend treatments, tests, etc that are unnecessary, just so they can make more money. Even my grumpy cat, who likes very few people, tolerates the Yonge Street team! I highly recommend Yonge Street Animal Hospital.

YSAH was extremely helpful and supportive during a very stressful time of being away from home and hearing that our cat (a difficult patient and grumpy senior) was sick at his boarding kennel. They were able to get him in quickly and were kind and reassuring throughout the day of stress. Dr. Lara Frankel walked me through her recommendations and, once again, was extremely supportive, calm and reassuring. Front desk staff answered my multiple calls throughout the day and never made me feel like an irritating client. They even called the kennel, once he was picked up, to talk their staff through his prescribed medications. I can’t thank the team enough for all of their assistance during this time!!

This has been our vet over the last few years for our 2 dogs, and I have never had a better experience than here.The staff are wonderful. All of the vets (particularly Dr Bastos who I have seen the most frequently) have done a thorough job for every issue I have seen them for, and they treat the dogs with such kindness. The vet assistants/techs are great, and the staff who work the front desk are absolutely wonderful (especially Angelica and Madison).I don’t always have time for a phone call when working, but the staff here are so great at returning emails that it still works seamlessly if I need anything.My dogs are my babies, so when I say that I trust the staff here with their care, it means a lot. I am so appreciative for this place!

I have taken my two dogs to this vet for over a couple of years, and I have only ever received the best service. The staff and doctors are always friendly, courteous and accommodating. I have experienced several emergencies (including a terrible attack on my cavalier by another dog, a neurological episode, etc.) and the clinic saw them immediately and provided treatment each time despite having no appointment booked. The cost of their services are worth every penny in my opinion. I would not feel comfortable taking my dogs to any other vet clinic.

All staff from reception to Doctor are extremely attentive and have an eye on detail. I know my dog is getting the best care possible. Piece of mind, trust, that's what I look for.Thank you to the all staff at the Yonge Street Animal Hospital for providing both.

We came in with our cat to get his claws trimmed. It took only about 5 minutes. The woman who cut them was a total pro, and friendly to boot. She also determined we had a credit on our account, so the cost was minimal. It’s a friendly, welcoming place!

Yonge Street Animal Hospital is beyond fantastic. Our previous vet was unhelpful when my dog was diagnosed with arthritis. We called Yonge St. Animal Hospital to get a second opinion and they provided very helpful info, which led to us switching to them full time. Four years later - every time I call, they are ALWAYS so helpful, understanding, caring and loving. I know my dog is in great hands when she's at Yonge Street Animal Hospital! I've moved 25 mins away and still make the drive b/c they are so good!

The staff at YSAH couldn’t be kinder or more caring. Add that to their incredible knowledge and insights and I always know that I’ll get the best advice about any ailment that affects my cat or dog. Last week I took in my aged, ailing cat thinking the time had come for him to cross the rainbow bridge. Dr. Crozier examined him, explained the two ailments that could be causing his problem and the two outcomes and gave me medication with which to take him home. A week later and he’s almost completely better, ruling the roost as always! Thank you so much.
