Lastman's Bad Boy

We went in late on a Friday night to look for a sectional sofa that was in stock and Rob was amazing. We are not a fan of the pushy type and he wasn’t. He answered our questions and was helpful. We left and went back to complete the sale. Thanks Rob.

Was told 1 month wait at the longest. Called after 2 months and was told half of the couch had arrived they were just waiting on the 2nd half that would be another 2 weeks. Called after 3 months and was told nothing was in stock and would be another couple weeks. They just use your money they make you pay to float the business.

Amazing, honest and most personable sales associate Evan. Did not pressure me. Allowed me to roam the store for 2 hours before making my decision. Answered all of my questions . Impressive selection of furniture with great prices. I will definitely be returning to this store. This store was an hour away from my home but was so very worth the drive! I will be telling all of my friends that this is the best place to go for Canadian furniture.

We ordered all our applicants from Lastman's in the summer of 2019. The initial service and delivery were good. Our dishwasher stopped working in October of 2022. The process to get a technician out to look at the machine took over 2 weeks. Once the technician came to look at it it took another week and a half to get feedback on what the next steps would be. We have paid a full warranty for every item for up to 5 years. They wanted to charge us $200 more for the exact same unit that we paid warranty on because it had gone up in price since we purchased it. The head office and the service department at Lastman's Barrie were horrible. Rude and unsympathetic employees who were getting frustrated at us for asking questions and not understanding why we had to pay for the exact same unit we paid warranty on. Is this not the point of warranty? All in all, they didn't have that product in stock any longer, we had to order another one and pay the $500 difference and we've now been waiting 7 months for a dishwasher with no assistance from the team or compensation for being out 7 months without a dishwasher. We still have no delivery date in sight. I would honestly just go to Costco instead of ordering appliances from Bad Boy. You get better customer service, warranty and availability. Horrible experience all around.

Clearly, this company likes to take our money but they do not follow through on their end, and you will not receive whatever it is that you have purchased. They promise 4-6 weeks delivery when in fact they do not even have the furniture that they are selling in stock and you will wait months and months for delivery. Why exactly do they not provide a refund?? This was not clearly stated nor was I told verbally that there were no refunds. The customer service is great when you are purchasing but once they have your money the customer service becomes non-existent, and you will wait, and they will not refund your money or even make an attempt to rectify the situation. Absolutely disgusting customer service. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BAD BOYS! I will post this here and on every social medial platform that I can find. Seriously people, go to TEPPERMAN's, THE BRICK, LEON's, but never purchase from this company. Biggest regret ever.

APPALLING SERVICE! DO NOT PURCHASE AT BAD BOY!!! I ordered 6 appliances on December 16, 2022 and was promised them by January 27, 2023. It’s April 29, 2023 and have only received the stove and refrigerator. Still missing the washer, dryer, dishwasher and microwave/range. Barrie store has washed their hands of it and all the telephone numbers at the head office aren’t answered, voice mailboxes are full and if you zero out, the call will go around in circles. I want a refund and the answer is, “No.”. THIS IS WRONG!!! Yet, they deliver three delivery trucks full of appliances to a new condominium, so that order is fulfilled on time. I see who’s important and it’s not the average shopper. I will never shop here again! And, I will tell everyone I know not to shop here!! Our money counts, too! If I could chose no stars, I would. They don't deserve the one star I had to chose.

We were in the market for a new fridge, and we came in to the store and were fortunate to meet Evan. He was so pleasant and extremely knowledgeable about the products, and the availability/issues and durability of the products. We completed our purchase with Evan, and he made the whole process smooth and painless. I would highly recommend this store for both price and selection.

My best friend ordered a couch from there on a whim and after reading some reviews about the quality she decided she didn’t want this couch! She tried to get a refund and they have been telling her no, that they’re unable to do this! They’ve been taking their sweet time getting back to her and being completely unprofessional, giving her the run around! She is a very sweet, hardworking person and does deserve the attitude over having buyers remorse! Get your stuff together BADboy furtniture!!! Learn the meaning behind customer service!!!!

On March 6, 2023, my 83 year old Mom purchased a chair from Bad Boy, Barrie. Upon purchasing, she was assured delivery within 2-3 weeks. Now, 8 weeks later, she's still waiting. After taking accessible transit back to the store to inquire about her chair and ask for a refund, she was treated so rudely and was flat out told she wasn't getting a refund and that her chair wouldn't arrive until the beginning of June. Not only is the service she received so unacceptable, the fact that the store manager hasn't the decency to return my phone calls, well, speaks volumes. Saddest part of this entire situation - this is the first new piece of furniture my Mom has purchased for herself. Shame on you Bad Boy. Like your ads say...NO BODY! Nobody gets treated with respect or dignity.
