Tillsonburg Veterinary Centre

I was literally hung up on when asking about recommendations for a vet in the new town I've located too. Sad, I've been going to this vet for years.

Excellent care for pets, so happy we found them

Had my first visit with my puppy and the staff was very good with her. There is a green space you can walk your dog while waiting for your appointment. Vet went over all the questions I had as a new pet owner and and took care while giving her her shots. Was given a welcome bag with treats after her appointment. Looking forward to long term relationship.

We have been going to the Tillsonburg Veterinary Centre for almost a year and a half with our dog Bexley. She’s a handful and yet they have been patient, kind, open and honest about her needs. They have taken excellent care of her, especially when she had a bowel obstruction.

I’ve had both very positive and negative experiences with this Vet. I experienced some really poor communication and mistakes with both scheduling appointments and important information. I also had to endure some VERY rude and condescending communication that was quite upsetting. That being said: there are also some very kind and caring individuals that helped us and our fur babies out a lot. It’s unfortunate these negative experiences can absolutely make you think twice about returning with your precious pets.

I thought this looked like a good vet from the reviews and maybe they are if I could get an appointment.But they aren't open to transferring pets to their services.I called wanting to set something up they told me to leave my number and they would call me back and they never did.I called back again and they said that I need to go to the vet that the cat was originally with with the shelter and refused to set up a file or appointment until I go back there again.If I wanted to go back there I would have already done that.I recommend going somewhere that will take new animals and is affordable, I'm going to yates in woodstock, they are great but the drive is a bummer.

Our family is entrusting five our pets to Tillsonburg Veterinary Centre and have been since we arrived in Tillsonburg area in 2012. Since then we have gone through many ups and downs with our pet's health and sadly we had to say good bye to the oldest one in 2019. All I can say is that Tillsonburg Veterinary Centre has always been there for us but most importantly for our beloved pets. Our pets are part of our family and it is comforting to us that all of them are under the care of the entire staff at Tillsonburg Veterinary Centre... (Thank You TVC)

I had a great first visit with my Beagle puppy. The place is very clean and has large outdoor parking and green area where I could walk and play with the puppy while we waited (although we had a scheduled visit, there might be a 15-30min wait time until place gets sanitized between visits). I got all the info I needed and more, the puppy got all he needed and more (lovely treats after vaccine and a bag to go).The staff is experienced and well organized (additional puppy info and background collected during our wait time) as far as my knowledge goes.

Just had my first appointment with Dr Laura & the team! I have to say, I definitely made the right decision choosing Tillsonburg Veterinary Centre. Dr Laura was very patient with our puppy and answered all of my questions. When it came down to discussing vaccinations, Dr Laura was very informative. Unlike other vet clinics I have been to in the past, I did NOT feel like I was dealing with a salesperson. I belive this clinic has the animals best interests in mind which is not always common in 2020.

Always a great experience! Rufus loves visiting the staff (even after getting fixed!). Everyone is always very friendly, helpful and kind. I have peace of mind when it comes to their recommendations (especially when I'm being paranoid) - Highly recommend!
