Been here a couple times as I've always gone to the Richmond locations. I was completely overwhelmed with the amount of products this location has. This is a good thing! I love walking through isles. Washroom is unbelievably clean! Comparing to the one we have here in Richmond. Both locations have run down dirty washrooms! I love the scenery and the background music as I went through the walk-a-lator. Good call on that! A couple things that turned a 5 star rating to a 4 are: The product that I was looking for, I did not find, and parking is not free... Actually, another one would be, there is a greeter, who does nothing but stare at you!

Bought an engine hoist this morning and that thing weighs a lot. Asked for a customer service for some help or a roll cart so I can roll it to the elevator and load it to my car easier. Help? Oh yes, the guy gave me the cart for the Groceries and obviously the box didn’t fit and everyone one was just looking at me. I was carrying that box for like a 5-7 mins to my car from the first floor not even a single person asked for help (except two Canadian tire customers , thx god for a good people ) terrible experience

Great place for all your house hold needs! They usually have some great deals as well. It can be a bit confusing finding things in the aisles as it's such a big store but they do have item locator screens around the store.I recommend getting their triangle reward card and MasterCard as you tend to accumulate points faster and able to redeem quicker.

Made an order last night based off their website inventory. Around 10pm our order was confirmed and said it would be ready for pick up the following day at 3pm.12pm the following day, we get an email that the order has been cancelled, along with a suggested alternative product listed at 3x the price of what we were originally trying to purchase. We called the store, which in itself was a whole separate issue. Four times we tried contact the online ordering reception in-store, and could not get through. We tried getting through at the scanning desk" wherein our call was mistakenly answered and no one knew. We were sitting here listening to random noises and a store associate talking to someone else. Finally we paged the main phone line and informed them that the online ordering phone was being ignored and we needed to get through. They transferred us to the online ordering phone line again and finally we were informed the inventory was completely wrong and they never had any in the first place.Didn't offer us any solutions

Good selection of gear and some of the most laughable horrible service ever. Perhaps in the future you could instructive staff to actually look at customers when they are asking questions and not just contemptuously bark answers over their shoulders while playing on their phones or chatting up co workers?

This place is just awful these days. NO cashiers, only self checkout with a security guard who makes everyone feel like a criminal after performing free labour for a corporation. Shopped at CT for years, but these days I can't be bothered, better deals online without all the hassle.STOP supporting companies that treat their customers and staff like cattle, they don't deserve to exist.

Disappointed on there service for fishing license. I had go 4 times for it. First go on Monday at Granville store, found offer between Tuesday to Friday, no exception. So did return on next day. After that I had to do again for another person on Jun 29, but not available due to printer not working, told me to get it on line. Are you kidding, firstly I don't know about computer, second, how can a big famous brand name store can't fix that little problem. So I drove to another Canadian Tire at Cambie street due to next day need to go fishing.

Has to check it out, as it was much more than the name leads you to believe. They have a deep and wide variety of items from aisles and aisles of camping gear to electronics and upstairs was almost all Christmas decorations. Very cool store

Had an appointment today at 11:30am to get two tires changed on my car, a task that should only take 30 minutes at most. Was told that my appointment would have a turnaround time of 2 hours. It took 4 hours before my car was ready for pickup. At 2 hours and 30 minutes I went to the front desk of the auto services department to ask where my car was, and was told that it had just left the lot not that long ago and that they were waiting for paperwork and it should be ready soon; a complete and utter lie. It took another hour and a half before they said I could get my car back. Wasted my entire day for this. What's the point of making an appointment in advance when they'll just treat you as if you were a walk-in customer? My brother-in-law also had a similar experience wherein he had an appointment to get 4 tires changed on his car at this location, but also had to wait 4 hours for the job to get done. Clearly the staff here are not well managed or well organized. I go to a Canadian Tire in Victoria for tire changes during the winter months and they do this task in one hour on the dot!Whatever you do, find somewhere else to get car maintenance done. This particular CT location needs some serious staff training for it to be even remotely considered competent.
