Terrible customer service, went in to look at dresses with friends and we were the only group to be followed around by staff and told we could only try 1 dress each when every other person in the store could try on multiple dresses. There was also no size inclusivity, I could only find 1 dress in my size and it had a stain in it. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Today I went there with my friend, and we asked this hijabi employee if we could try dresses on. She replied with “yeah obviously you can why can’t you” and kind of scoffed at us. She was very rude. I did not think anything of it at first and moved on. We then found something we wanted to try, and asked for a fitting room, and again she scoffed at us and was like “yeah obviously” she said it in a way like we were stupid for asking to try it on. I told her you’re an employee and we weren’t sure, that’s why we ask. and she walked to a fitting room and said “here. You’re sharing this” in a very rude tone. She was very disrespectful towards us and kept giving us dirty looks and was just an all around rude person. She made us an uncomfortable and we did not want to be in the store anymore and purchase something. I did not get her name but I remember she was a hijabi and she worked on June 3rd at around 3:00pm

By far the worst dress shop in ottawa!! Avoid coming to tunkas if you can!! There’s much better options such as la maison!!!! I came here with my friend to purchase a prom dress and I couldn’t help but notice how both employees were giving me dirty looks!!! I asked the black employee for a dress I was looking for and I waa told they don’t have it but then a few minutes later another girl came and she was black too. She asked for the same dress and the employee gave her a tons of sizes from that dress to try on!!! In addition to that, i was given a limit of trying 1 dress on but other girls were not given any limit!!! If you are looking forward to shop at a racist store with rude employees then Tunkas is right for u!!!!! NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN

Staff were rude, gave us glares and followed us around. We were given a dress limit of 1 per person but it was only given to us and we watched every other customer try on multiple dresses with no complain from staff. They had stained dresses on the racks and very little sizes. Do NOT go here if you want a good dress shopping experience

Rude, sarcastic and belittling customer service from the manager — a guy named Abraham. His employee was constantly apologizing to me for his despicable behavior. Don’t shop here if you can avoid it. The positive reviews here are most likely fake, and I corroborate all the negative reviews on service. Not sure whether the owner is aware of this, but I will never set foot in this store again, and will actively discourage shoppers to go in when at Bayshore.

Not only did the associates completely ignored us when we entered the store, but they also looked me up and down when I said “hello, how are you?” And proceeded to ask assistance to get one of the dresses down from the wall so I could try it on. When I tell you I can get the same quality dresses on SHEIN I am not exaggerating. Fabric felt cheap to the touch plus everything from the zippers to the straps were ripped… and they want to charge $500-$300 for these?!?!?!?!?! Madness. Not even Marciano on Rideau has these prices and their quality is superior. Also we asked to put a dress on hold and the ¡ATTITUDE! we received from the associates was so uncared for!!?? Apparently, we need to pay$ to put a dress on hold now. Do not even bother coming to this store bruh. Worse experience ever. You get better treatment at SHEIN for $540 less and the same quality garments

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I went here with my daughter to purchase her prom dress in June we tried to return the dress 30 minutes later when I was then notified of there return policy at no point prior to purchase was I told exchange only I asked to have a manager call me. After returning to the store on more then 10 more occasions and leaving my phone number to call me this never happened. After returning yet again I finally caught someone who claimed to be the manager a very rude unhelpful person asked for contact for now his boss or have his boss contact me. He basically said this will not happen and I am stuck with a $250 in store credit that I have no use for and it will expire in December if I don’t buy SOMETHING. AGAIN THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS POLICIES WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO MY WORST ENEMY.

Was told to make an apt and stop touching the stuff. I said sorry I didn't mean to and the sales associate justed turned away. I had to ask many follow up questions to even know how to sign up and he just said website without looking at me. I felt unwelcome even though I was looking to drop thousands on a weddings dress and thousands more on bridesmaids dresses. Def not the vibe if you want a good wedding experience. I would be embarrassed to bring my friends here to try on the bridesmaids dresses.

If I could give 0 stars I would, incredibly rude staff that followed me around and told me that I could only try on one dress. Others had also just walked in and tried on SEVERAL. Absolutely don't buy here.

The dresses are gorgeous however the service was so bad that I likely will not shop here again. Not a single employee acknowledged us, two girls sat on their phone ignoring everything and the owner or manager was the only one actually working. No one offered to help, no one asked what we were looking for and they certainly didn't bother to stick around in case we needed assistance with the dresses.The starting sale point was about 80$ and up to a thousand yet you'd think we were shopping at a second hand store for all they cared. I will avoid this store moving forward.
