What an amazing hidden gem! As a Naval officer and an historian, I was pleasantly surprised to find this wonderful collection tucked away into a corner of Ontario that I just happened to come by through a happy chance. Splendid artifacts, amazing models and an outstanding collection of rare books for sale. I had to restrain myself from adding as many as a dozen to my own collection! The curator was interesting & friendly, and generously gave me a great deal of her time in showing me the many displays. Much better than anything we have in Toronto by a long reach.Bravo Zulu!!

Delightful, clean and homey atmosphere! So many interesting things to see and learn. Betty Ann and Paul are very knowledgeable and friendly. Check out the kids programs too! An absolute gem!

Betty Ann is an amazing repository of knowledge of Great Lakes history! I look forward to visiting the Naval Marine Archive wherever I'm in Picton. I always find something special.
